The reason of Lenovo Invalid is because it using custom made mobo for Y500/Y400. You can't change or do anything about it, just leave it there :/

However, Lenovo y510p have solved the "Lenovo Invalid" :3

It also need to depends on the game and engine it uses. It should be supported because every hardcore gamer sure have SLi Setup~

i play few games on high setting, so far no lag what-so-ever~
only on Far Cry 3 (last 2 days) the temperature rise to 100 degree Celsius..
maybe it is time to service my Y400  sweat.gif

some of the game that i played :
-Left 4 Dead series,
-Battlefield series,
-Call Of Duty series,
-Sniper Elite V2,
-Far Cry 3,
-Remember Us,
-Alan Wake,
-etc~

btw, i only upgrade RAM to 8GB (high performance)..else still stock hardware  smile.gif
16GB RAM + SSD definitely increase laptop performance & loading time  thumbup.gif

Even you send them to Service Center, you won't get high quality TIM and Thermal Pads, the only way is to DIY. In other words, still the same.

Guys what are the best temp for gpu when playing game???
Last time I'm play Splinter Cell Blacklist almost 1 and half hour and then
my GPU temp around 85c and the ultrabay 88c..

Is it ok??? or is it too high???
*
For a graphic intensive games, lenovo only uses shared heat pipe for gpu and cpu and if u running sli. This is consider a good temperature.
