Ala why not just pay rm50 more for a peace of mind. No harm done right? Besides lower voltage ram will somewhat increase however small the batt hours per charge ma. Really wonder dah la the original factory ram is 1.35v. Lagi wanna put in a 1.5v... its like mixing half tank of ron 95 and half tank of ron 97. Know it works cause its still fuel but whats the rational?
*
you getting wrong point , biggrin.gif what i wanna mention is you can installed 1.5v ram in Haswell 's processor platform other then 1.35v ram, as i saw people saying the newer platform cannot ever put in the 1.5v ram laugh.gif

just got my Y510P lappy, quite happy with the performance.

I have a question here, I kindda hate the original Win8 that comes with tons of crappy pre-installed software, can I format it and install my own Win8 with the given serial that I got it from Belarc Advisor
*
You need to be installed with same Window 8 SL image ISO

if you raised the concern when you first purchase you could have exchange to a new unit on the spot.. smile.gif
for now i think you need to bring it back to the person/shop you purchase from..
but the unit might need to go through warranty replacement instead of 1:1 replacement..
*
highly suspect he bought local unit --but -- demo set or faulty unit ( customer return )
