just reset win8 today.
All files & driver are gone but after reinstall, all component are working fine. Advice to y400 free-dos own/soon to be owner: Install (from drivers DVD given) non-intel drivers only for wireless & bluetooth & vga. Otherwise, you'll have a bad time.
