bluetooth transfer(send & receive) always stuck .
Driver installed; Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth 4.0 + HS.

Guys i install win8 onto my y400 freedos (uefi mode), and now i want to reinstall win8, should i choose efi or legacy mode? does there any difference like pc perfomance or boot time etc? i want to use ubuntu cause efi not fully spported ubuntu and have alot of trouble

well, this is the 1st time I've heard of bluetooth driver not functioning well in y500.. Mine works fine :/

Try uninstalling ur current bluetooth driver and download the driver from lenovo website.

Try also to check ur PC Settings under Wireless.. See if ur bluetooth not turned off..

If both matter fails, then I think it's hardware faultiness. U can always bring it to service center since ur lappy has warranty.

P/s: I'm not so sure about this problem. I'm not a pc-techie my self sweat.gif

Finally saw a Y500 SLI GT750M at Gadgetzone, Prangin Mall yesterday. Retail price RM3899.

Took long enough for the SLI version of y500 gt750m to appear at lowyat.. I went there last May or so, they only have the single-GPU version (I searched the whole plaza >.<)

Unable to wait for the lappy, I just ordered it from @Devour at rm3888 only.. Been owning this babe since late May/early June.. rclxms.gif

The Y500 is supposed to run a little hot so it was recommended to get a cooling pad on some of the reviews.
