Let's see if other brands also hike price. MYR is weak
But Y410p is totally not appealing anymore.
And Y510p, potential buyers may want to consider to spend only a bit more to get MSI or illegear/Clevo

Y series won the market with "reasonable build quality" with "very competitive price/spec".
Now the former is stagnant, and the latter is disappearing ...

I have contacts with the local distributors, they told me that is on hot demand until the resellers Q up to collet the stocks at their warehouse. Due to demand, maybe that is the cause of price increase.

but illegear price for just the basic models like the re-15 is already 3499.. in a way, y510p is still a budget laptop for those on really a tight budget..

Cause through experience, I know some of these private shopkeepers/dealers (mostly those ah pek ) like to simply do things, and there hasn't been any official announcement or even in brochures/catalogues/pamphlet prices changed. If the shopkeeper/dealer tells it's naik harga, I won't believe so easily lo
