Ok, I just got an email from Ian Yong, PITH Komtar, Penang (official reseller for Lenovo in Penang).
Price for a Y510P SLI, is RM3039. (I think kinda expensive) RAM still not sure if 1.5V or 1.35V but they say can use 1.5V RAM.

For anyone who has a Y510P, could you check if your RAM is 1.35V or 1.5V?

Ok, I just talked to them, it is not the SLI version. Damm. Single GPU only.
So its RM3039 for the non SLI Y510P
& RM3999 for the SLI Y510P

& they have no idea about what the RAM voltage is, wheter its the DDR3L(1.35V) or DDR3 (1.5V).

can get the same price from Hikaru & she has a rebate (merdeka promotion) so its even cheaper.

pls use 1.35v.. not 1.5v. u'd get lots of problems later.. 1.35v is abit more exp.. i got mine 8gb for RM250.

so your original RAM was DDR3(1.5V) & you changed it to DDR3L(1.35V)?

original was already 1.35v (8GB). i added another 8GB with 1.35v..

don't always jsut compare price. Make sure hikari got stock anot first

Actually, I more comparing on service feedback. So far she is quite prompt. So is Ian from PITH.
Only thing difference is that Ian stock is a lot slower. no SLI available at his shop yet. only single GPU.

dont forget to check your GeForce Experience app and update ur driver to 326.80 yeah. is good.

Y410p only come with single gpu (GT750m) till todate. Dual GPUs (SLI) only available for Y510p variants.

Yes I am currently using 1.5v corsair 8gb DDR3 1600mhz ram in my Y510p, no problem and running perfectly fine, i do not believe and buy the fact that haswell have to stick with low voltage 1.35v ram, is just recommended but not compulsory my 2cents

Are u pairing ori 1.35V ram with another 1.5V ram? Do we need to use the same voltage ram for dual channel?

So far from what I read, it really depends on the specific Haswell CPU
And has yet to come across Haswell spec laptop that come with 1.5v RAM out of factory
