Here's a picture of a real Type 34. Just look at how much detail Matchbox has put into the casting.

And here's the Honda NSX heritage. The left one is the existing model, middle one is HSC Concept (which was supposed to be the NSX's replacement back in 2003) and right one is the confirmed new NSX.

can be the factory stafsf that like to screw collectors by purposely put in some slight variations

Sometimes things like wheels variation (like white GT-R with bright/dark chrome wheel variation), it's because maybe the proper dark chrome wheels ran out at one moment, they replace it with the bright chrome variant.

It is actually collectors like us that want to screw ourselves by collecting variants and errors.
