I feel sorry to do this, but Mika you are testing my patience. I sent a CNET 5 port switch to you on the 25th April 2006. The item was bought in December 2005 and carries with it a 1 year warranty.

Upon receiving the item, you did not even take the initiative to tell me you've received nor have u ever reply my PMs regarding the item's status. Until i thoroughly asked if you'd received did you reply - with two words only : Yes, replyed. And that was the last message i received.

If you are still carrying such a stupid grudge with you over the previous matter just because I asked for your phone number, as a seller you really are embarassing yourself.

It has been almost 2 weeks now.

How long a good take to RMA really depend on the distributor/manufacturer la. Normally first month most distro give 1 to 1 exchange. 4 months old item need to wait RMA. Even an ori Nokia phone took more than 2 months to RMA from Zitron. He's not manufacturer nor distributor. Just a reseller. I'm also a reseller selling goods that need to RMA sometimes. Most of the time in RMA cases resellers have to face questions from customer regarding when can get the replacement/fix goods. Really hard to answer that. If we give a date to them it might become a broken promise if the time due but distributor still can't send to us. Keep on "chasing" distributor also they give u "not yet this not yet that" answer. Some good distro may have technician to fix it for you or replace with a working used unit for you. The worst part is some tell you need to send back to manufacturer! China or Taiwan....

get yourself a new one then when u have got it back faster sell it off.
That's all what I can say.

Over past 1 whole year I notice that a lot of distributors and manufacturers took very long period to RMA faulty products which mainly due to extremely low profit margin/incurred loss. smile.gif

Never use all of your saving to buy certain things, standby some reserved fund for such incidents so you can continue your work by buying new replacement.
