Just got a xbox 360 tonight(Help, I cant sleep... overexcited ).
I need some info about the xblive service. If I want to subscribe the xblive gold membership, what are the things I need to do? how do I pay for the service?

Any xb360 veteran out there?

If you want to subscribe either you use a credit card to pay, or buy the Xbox live subscription cards which are hard to come by here

To subcribe for Xbox Live, u will need a valid Singapore address with a valid zip code or postcode if ur console is the Asia version. To pay for the service, u can either use a credit card or purchase a monthly Xbox Live Gold card.

For the Xbox Live Gold Membership card, u could either get it from Singapore by pruchasing it online or get it from Djinn thru "Djinn Bulk Orders v3" (Coming soon)

just for your information, you can try out the 1 month trial gold membership before purchase the 3/12months subscription gold member.

get a valid SG address and then take the silver xblive, MS will give you one month free xblive gold.

hehe..just plug in the network cable n go online.....enjoy free live gold 1 month 1st lah....

Yeah enjoy the first month Gold free when u sign up until you sort out how to renew - whether by credit card or subscription cards. Don't be stupid like me and key in my subscription code when I signed up and wasted the free one month. Stoooooopid me!

i thought the subscription code only kicks in after the one month of free live

Bought my 360 in March, keyed in 3 months subscription cards x 2 = 6 months' subscription, now account status showing expires in Sept. So guess I lost my freebie one month.

Also, in the future there might be free Live service...but we get bombard by advertisement.
