Actually the best advice is to go see a doc.. really.. traditional medication might help.. but it doesnt cure.. if she is having these gastric pain for a long time there may be an ulcer in her stomach or a bacteria 'helicobater pylori' which reduces the gastric mucous which protects the stomach.. so best bet for total cure? go see a doc.. a trusted gp.. you'll be given either antacids or a drug that causes your stomach to secrete less acid which may be either ranitidine or omeprazole.. but of course dont simply go get from pharmacist.. tongue.gif its dangerous to get medication before getting a diagnosis from your doc.. hope this helps..

oh yeah milk may sometimes irritate the stomach when she is having these gastric pains..

on another note.. panadol is ok when she is having gastric coz panadol doesnt coz your stomach to increase acid.. but aspirin does.. smile.gif

oh n do mention the burp n vomitting feeling when you go see a doc.. ok? smile.gif

hey just a note. panadol and other western medicines are actually very harmful to the body. studies have shown that a panadol pill actually takes 5 years to fully disintegrate. so imagine la, we msians, each time we are having here pain, there pain, pop panadol.

the answer is, dont take panadol if possible, if can try to tahan.

how to avoid? change your lifestyle. exercise. dont smoke and drink. eat lots of vege and fruits. and take food supplement, the correct one, one that is in liquid form for BEST absorption. pills, capsules take very long time to absorb.
sorry bout this but i would really like to know where u get this info on studies that panadol takes 5 years to ermm fully disintegrate? or is it something that you are saying based on wat ppl say? if it is a real study do you know the actual percentage of it? or who is actually doing the study? if you say dont take panadol then wat would you do if the pain was so severe that you cannot 'tahan' ?

of course lifestyle changes is a must in any type of illness.. n for gastric case is actually to eat 3 meals a day, no snacks in between n of course try not to take a heavy supper before sleep... food supplement are good but like the word says.. its food SUPPLEMENT.. not treatment.. so its just supplement to your daily diet

i have many friends who have had health problems like gastric, migraine, insomnia, all when they change their lifestyle and started taking this brand of food supplement from Germany, FitLine, their illness were almost gone.

on another note i would like to ask you something on this.. which i find unreliable.. you said that many friends of yours with health problems take this food supplement n get better.. so i would like to ask you that do you know how many ppl that actually take that food supplement n dont recover?
this is a common misunderstanding when especially sales person trying to sell their traditional medicine.. they'll say alot of ppl get cured.. but they dont say how many dont get cured.. for eg. out of 500 ppl 20 got cured.. the rest didnt.. so 20 is a lot of ppl... but compare it with 480 ppl who dont.. is it still helpful?

there was a doctor in US who actually did cleansing of this guy's colon. what he found in the 'mass' are not fully disintegrated pills, capsules, and of course, all the rubbish he has been eating over the years. i dont have proof of the study, but it does make sense that pills take a long time to disintegrate. just take panadol, drop into water and see how long does it fully dissolve, like when you add salt to water, you dont see anything anymore cos it dissolves well.

about ppl not recovering after taking food supplement, maybe its cos the problem is too serious. health problems take years to develop and of cos it takes some time for the body to heal on its own. drugs can do it fast cos it addresses the symptoms not the root. tats why there is relapse sometimes. food supplements go to the root and thus takes longer time to take effect. i'm not saying that food supplement can CURE serious ailments like cancer. i'm just saying food supplement can help to relieve semi healthy conditions like migraine, gastric, constipation, etc.

well of course panadol or any pill wont dissolve in water because its just water.. if you add panadol in the gastric acid and see wat will happen? i'm sure it'll dissolve.. all medicine are made with account to our body's physiology.. but in case of this doctor in US.. the patient there might be a strong possibility that he may already be having disease of the colon or any other part in the intestinal tract if not i dont think the doc would actually go clean his colon in the first place..

and if you actually read up bout how gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer develop you'll be surprise to find that a bacteria is actually causing it.. in that case you'll need antibiotics for it to get better, of course in this case its mild so nothing to worry about... but its always better to be safe than sorry.. n dont drag any illness too long.. y suffer in pain n not take drugs to relieve it?

just my 2cents smile.gif

die because of that.. omg....
yeah blueskies uncle probably died of something called peritonitis following the rupture of the stomach due to an ulcer in the stomach.. its a dangerous condition thats y i was saying to get it treated n not wait too long.. i'm not disagreeing with health food but i find that it sometimes give ppl a false sense of security..

(for those who would like to know, peritonitis is an inflammation of the intestine covering which would lead to shock n subsequently death)
