can we restore back that thread? so that we don't need to repeat all these convincing and explanation here again...

who is that a**hole who removed this?

CYBERJAYA (Dec 9, 2013): Cyberview Sdn Bhd, which has been mandated by the government to spearhead the development in Cyberjaya, Selangor, plans to launch the RM6 billion Cyberjaya City Centre project next year, said its managing director Faris Yahaya.

The 150-acre mixed development will feature commercial, residential and office units to be developed over five phases.

"Cyberjaya City Centre will be the next big development in Cyberjaya. We are in the process of completing the development plan," Faris told reporters after the groundbreaking ceremony of a RM1.055 billion housing project at Block 20 here last Friday.

"This project will involve public-private partnerships and a special-purpose company will be established to undertake the development," he added. Faris said the state-owned company will announce its partners for the mega project in due course.

Meanwhile, Cyberview is teaming up with Gadang Holdings Bhd to jointly develop 794 units of PR1MA housing, 142 units of two-storey link houses, 340 units of stratified two-storey link houses, 1,074 apartment units, 150 units of government quarters and one plot of commercial land measuring 10.44 acres at Block 20 here.

Dubbed "Cyberjaya Housing Development Project", it will be developed in four phases over 140 acres and is expected to be completed in nine years.

Faris said Phase 1 will comprise 325 units of PR1MA housing and 142 units of two-storey link houses priced from RM500,000, which will be launched in the third quarter of next year.

"I am confident that with this new development, we can potentially meet the housing requirements of at least another 10,000 people and at the same time, create new business opportunities," he said.

At the Edge Investment Forum on Real Estate in May this year, prospects of Cyberjaya were
discussed:-

Kumar Tharmalingam, the Executive Director of Sunway Bhd commented that he believes Cyberjaya
has reached its second stage of growth; the first stage was when it was launched and the second
is when it’s maturing. He expressed that Cyberjaya will be more like a satellite town in the next few
years as the population is growing.

Previndran Singhe, the CEO of Zerin Properties said that Cyberjaya is a good location for
investment, as there is a lot of commercial and institutional activity taking place there. In order for
the investors to stay ahead of the competition, it was advised to choose a development that is
differentiated by product, with good management and developers.

Ho Chin Soon, the Director of Ho Chin Soon Research Sdn Bhd said that the proposed Putrajaya
MRT ends at the Putrajaya express rail link station and a feeder bus will enable most residents
of Cyberjaya to use the Putrajaya MRT line. The centre of gravity of Greater KL is heading south
and Cyberjaya is poised to benefit. He added that Cyberjaya is easily accessible via the Maju
Expressway currently.

Garden Residence, Cyberjaya benefits from this, since it's 5 minutes drive from the Putrajaya express rail link station. The 2 story Semi D there can fetch up to 1.8M - 1.9M easily this year

I choose Cyberjaya to stay in, raise my family and retire anytime than any other places. It's tranquil, serene and best of all, the township is well-plan and the road is wide.

I do not worry about the commercial elements and amenities at all, because I strongly believe all these will come in very soon, sooner than you would expect smile.gif

Cyberjaya only got 2 way out, 3 if talk about the improper back road.

1) Dell
2) Lim Kok Wing
3) MMU back

I remembered once when Lim Kok Wing side got accident, those unaware literally drove to the jam and stuck for some time.

I'm afraid once boom the access will be issue.

there are 4 ways in and out from cyberjaya, you excluded the MEX highway
Anyway there will be 2 additional one when Cyberjaya City Centre is up and the extension of MEX highway to KLIA through Cyberjaya

Our Maybank CEO several months back until he was asked to join the Ministry department of PM recently

PUTRAJAYA: Despite being a minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar showed no signs of awkwardness when shopping at a market with his wife.

Reporters came across Abdul Wahid while on assignment to cover an event involving Putrajaya Umno Youth monitoring the prices of goods at the Presinct 8 Public Market here yesterday.

“I am a normal person, too. We must get the best value. I live in Cyberjaya. Every week, I shop at Dengkil because the fish and vegetables there are cheaper. Here (Precinct 8 Public Market), I buy small items, including bean sprouts,” he said.

Abdul Wahid said he always took note of the prices of items at the market and went to the ground to see for himself the actual situation.

“I keep in touch with the cost of living. When I was at Maybank too, if I go to Jakarta, or anywhere else, I’d go to the markets to understand the income and cost of living in Indonesia, as compared to Malaysia,” said the former Maybank chief executive officer.

According to Abdul Wahid, the role of the Federation of Malaysian Consumers Association must be boosted to create better awareness among consumers to complement the role of the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry. He said consumers must also be wise and spend prudently. — Bernama

he has 2 houses in Cyberjaya? I thought he lives in Symphony Hill only. Wise man like him made good choice in staying in Cyberjaya. Cyberjaya is known for its tranquility, serenity and air freshness. Good environment to raise family. smile.gif

The poll is looking strong favouring Cyberjaya is a nice place to stay in.

HOME buyers who place a premium on family and generational living need look no further than Country Heights Holdings Bhd’s latest development, Mansion Park.

Located within Malaysia’s Multimedia Super Corridor status city, Cyberjaya, Mansion Park is a gated and guarded residence, featuring spacious signature villas that ensure ample personal space and privacy for every family member.

Founded in 1984, Country Heights is a property conglomerate whose core businesses fall within the divisions of property development; property investment; and hospitality, leisure and health.

Within these divisions, Country Heights is the catalyst behind some of Malaysia’s most successful developments including the Mines Resort City, and soon to be transformed into the Mines Wellness City, as well as upmarket residences across Damansara and Kajang, among many others. Mansion Park at Cyberjaya is set to be another feather in the corporation’s cap.

Developed on 6.96 acres of freehold land, Mansion Park is a low-density residence, offering just 72 units of 3-storey Signature Villas. With built-up areas ranging from 4,085 to 5,363sq ft, Mansion Park villas come with 5+1 bedrooms, including a dual master bedroom as well as a 20ft linear garden at the backyard, making them the ideal home choice for those seeking to forge closer family ties.

Besides that, each villa features an innovative design, incorporating a ceiling height of 13ft and large floor-to-ceiling windows, thus enhancing the feeling of spaciousness and maximising the use of natural lighting.

“At Country Heights, we know that there is much joy in living with family and sharing in each other’s lives. However, choices are limited for big families who not only want to live together, but also seek a luxurious and quality lifestyle. As such, Mansion Park focuses on the generational living concept where different generations can live together in the same home, without compromising on life’s luxuries such as comfortable living spaces amid lush landscape set within the green belt in Cyberjaya,” said Dianna Lee the group CEO of Country Heights.

Accessibility is also a key feature at Mansion Park, as the residence is connected by major highways including the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE), Maju Expressway (MEX), North South Expressway Central Link (Elite), Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) and Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway (PLUS).

Additionally, Mansion Park is well-served by quality educational institutions like the Seri Puteri Boarding School, Sekolah Kebangsaan and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Cyberjaya, ELC International School, the Cyberjaya University College of Medical Science, Kolej Internexia, Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, University Malaysia and the Kirkby International College.

Shopping and recreational activities are also within a short distance away at the Cyberjaya Street Mall and Alamanda Shopping Centre plus the upcoming new mall in Cyberjaya, The Pulse.

Alot of short-sighted people dont' think this way.

If everyone who thinks KL twin tower is the place to live within, and it's the centre radius distant measurement to every other places like PJ, Klang, Subang, etc, then you may feel or say Cyberjaya is quite distance away from KL Twin tower.

Now when Cyberjaya is the next "KL twin tower" in years time, where everyone wants to live within due to its iconic MNC buildings, job opportunities, countless malls, good security, greenery space, good transportations and public infrastructure ( wide road, fibre optics, city wifi connected, real-time electrity back up, etc ), you would feel or say then that KL is freaking far away from Cyberjaya and that you don't want to live in KL anymore. When Cyberjaya/Putrajaya becomes vibrant and self-sustain within 3 yeras time, ( which i know it will ), you will then have different perceptions about Cyberjaya again.

My friends once said Cyberjaya is Kampung and they won't want to live there... now they are asking which part of Cyberjaya they should live in. funny right?

Far in the context of distance is a matter of time perception and its relativity location of comparison.

yeah, you are right...

my first job was in cbj....and i'm lucky that i stayed very near to mex highway, so traveling to cbj was never a problem for me....and working in cbj to me was a 'heaven' due to the peaceful ambiance, less pollution and good benefits too tongue.gif

then i moved to pj and working in pj too....always have problem with pj parking, thus always kena saman and once kena langgar lori =_= and driving home can really drive me mad because of the massive jam every evening...

but for my friends who never go to cbj, they always have perception that cbj is far....which i dont agree at all because they didnt consider traveling time!!

wanted to go back cbj madly now lol....waiting for my unit to ready in 2 years time smile.gif
*
there you go, you gave one good example on the perception changed right after you worked in both places....anyone like me who have already accepted Cyberjaya as a place for living, working and playing, would have a different perception and would think PJ or places in KL are NOW very far away. it's really a matter of whether we have accepted a place to live, work and all and after that how we change our perception towards a place...at the end of the day, you just have to come Cyberjaya to take a look and feel it for yourself..

If we can enjoy the food, have leisure and get the things here in Cyberjaya within a year time, why would we want to go to another city for the same thing?

If we are to live and work in KL or PJ just to get an extra income of 1k or 2k more BUT in exchange for the mental frustration because of the road congestion madness and pollution, what is the point?

Cyberjaya landscape has been evolving and still is, once it hits your level of acceptance, your perception will change accordingly, especially when you see the benefits of it. The only different between this self-sustain city - cyberjaya and others are because of its uniqueness - location, infrastructure, public transport availability, free-congestion due to development governance within cyberjaya, countless up-and coming malls, etc...

Yes, i agree with u. I have faith in cyberjaya and i never bother to explain to ppl in real life  biggrin.gif

I dont think the residential prop price will drop....cyberjaya is a place either buy now or u will never afforded to buy later....especially for young working group...

Have to explain to people who are open minded. and usually these group of people come with great mind. I want to see great people with great mind living in the city with us. smile.gif

Far in the context of distance is a matter of time perception and its relativity location of comparison. People may use KL twin tower now as a yardstick to gauge the distance from one place to another,...years down the road, people might use Putrajaya/Cyberjaya as the yardstick of distance from its place to another....look at those new development brochure..they are putting Putrajaya/Cyberjaya on its map already..saying how many km(s) away from Cyberjaya/Putrajaya.
