Exact from NST:
Mixed buyers: What makes up the main property investors in Cyberjaya? In Paramount’s development Sejati Residences, due to complete in 2015, buyers are a mixture of four different categories: • The first category consists of those already living and working in Cyberjaya, looking for a larger home, with better amenities, as well as a gated and guarded environment. • The second category consists of those upgrading from homes in the nearby vicinity – Puchong, Subang, USJ, and Sepang. • The third category consists of international expatriates working in the different businesses and companies in Cyberjaya. The ICT and education industries in Cyberjaya are represented by a wide variety of countries – Asia, Australasia, Europe, and America. • The fourth category are investors who see the long term potential of Cyberjaya and are attracted by the young, growing population, easy access to KL and other parts of the Klang Valley, the freehold status of the land and the lack of other residential options. QUOTE(LSIm @ Nov 13 2013, 12:06 AM) Exact from NST: I think the majority is the 4th category. Don't believe it, try go there at night and see any cars there on the road. It is different compare to Serdang, Bangi and Puchong where cars are everywhere. Not long ago there is an article writing about Cyberjaya population during day time is so much higher than at night. It simply shows people go work at Cyberjaya but not stay there. It will no change unless there is more entertainment like shopping mall, restaurant or cinema open at Cyber else have to wait until somebody do the plunge!Mixed buyers: Who makes up the main property investors in Cyberjaya? We are talking about once the commercial like TGV, Jaya grocer, bowling... which expected to be ready in 2014... And more & more residential properties be it landed or high-rise going to be completed by stages from 2014.... Things are going to be better in Cyber from 2014 onward..This post has been edited by LSIm: Nov 12 2013, 11:20 PM |

When the mall is ready by 2014, ppls will ask for other things like clinic, hospital, public library, kindergarten, etc etc.

A feedback survey fr those students who stay in Cybetjaya is vital, IMHO, this is the largest group of people who hv few yrs experience living in Cyberjaya, hence they could also be the most potential tenant or buyer for Cybetjaya property.
If more than 30% will continue staying after graduating, then it is a good sign for investing If more than 80% answer no, then I would advise investor to stay away This post has been edited by UFO-ET: Nov 13 2013, 09:12 AM |

They will say if they get a job here they will consider staying. If they get a job somewhere else, they will likely move. Younger people are more mobile. Hard to say, if you check Setia Walk, you will know how many are actually working in CJ or AirportAnyway having a simple survey is better than no survey. For me I want to find 2 answers fr tis survey :- 1. If I work elsewhere other than Cyberjaya, I still want to stay here 2. If I work in Cyberjaya, I wouldn't want to stay here also This post has been edited by UFO-ET: Nov 13 2013, 09:40 AM |
