Was in cyber yesterday Saturday afternoon driving around 5 to 6pm
Roads very quiet n if without the traffic lights can roam the whole cyber without having to step on the brake. Few people seen walking in the streets n are mostly foreign students or construction workers
Only remember seeing a crowd of local students at a bus stop. 4 or 5 taxis waiting for customers at a taxi stand near MMU. 3 empty buses park outside the bus terminal. The carpark at the Taman Tasik Cyberjaya only got less than 5 cars. Hardly see any family around
Ground floor shops at CBD Perdana are 90% vacant with D'pulze next to it getting ready to open
Shaftsbury square has a small crowd but not many. Had tea at O' Briens for 1 hour and was the only customer although can say due to puasa time, but no non Muslim patrons? Except a couple came in but to ask for direction. Was at KK mart n also saw someone came in to ask for direction. Seems like Shaftsbury is THE most crowded place for people to ask for direction
The ARC by Andaman looks unique from far with the large square on the facade of the few towers. To me old condo like the low rise D' Melor seems to fit the quiet n serene environment here better vs those high dense high rise. If u been to cyber heights villa, u will know what I mean with the very very spacious green area between blocks n extremely fresh air becoz of many trees around. Becoz of the earthwork done to clear land for projects, driving around cyber give u the feeling of staring at vast tract of barren land, no greens
Seems like Cyber still have a long way to reach maturity in terms of more proportionate residents versus the whole township n it's many new supply

They chose Salak Tinggi maybe becoz it is next to Nilai, the Education town
Salak Tinggi is not that near to Cyberjaya. From cyber u need to go to Dengkil, then Kota Warisan then only reach. Student spillover should be more to Nilai

QUOTE(CK15 @ Jul 18 2014, 08:08 PM) Can't speak for other. I look left, look right, look up, look down and look centre. High chance pleople will go, by priority: 1. Kota Warisan 2. Dengkil 3. Cyberjaya. Can't find why people will go Nilai! ;-) But Nilai got Tesco n Giant. Fast food got McDonald, KFC and Burger King. It also has a KTM Komuter station nearby. Kota Warisan n Dengkil got??

QUOTE(noblebaby @ Aug 11 2014, 07:22 PM) More big trees needed ard cyber Yes, totally agree. If vast tract of land are cleared by human without natural vegetation left, the whole place will be very hot on a sunny day. The sight is also not so pleasant

QUOTE(syazwan @ Aug 19 2014, 06:35 PM) Yup..its just a workplace. Entertainment/ better foods = puchong /putrajaya or even kl Cost of living = definitely not here Security = ermmm apartment student always kena break in. Even my housemate lost his laptop last time (we r staying in townhouse with security guards just fyi) Environment= arab + african students combo so u go figure how. Have been in d place for 7 years, will stay if im single or alone but definitely not my first choice if staying with kids and family. HOWEVER i dont deny the fact that I love the environment near tasik and cyberview lodge..that one much more terkawal i wud say..p/s iinm some rumours saying it is LKW's house there but im not sure true or not. QUOTE(CloudAtla$ @ Aug 24 2014, 09:52 AM) Sure or not? You know agent la. Their info on any single small positive news can be blown up in proportion. That's why wish to know whether GEM has open? If yes, not wrong to say that it's ahead of Dpulze to be the first mall

Most important is the retail become successful n with good human traffic with strong purchases
Doesn't matter, mall, retail or hybrid...
Else where it's the traditional cluster of shop offices which are often the successful model but this is yet to be seen in cyber, while SS is also a hybrid
