i travel solo. i depart from here oct 10 n reach there midnite. overnite at airport then then next morning need to travel to narita airport for 11.30am flight to chitose. stay at sapporo till oct 15 then fly to tokyo and stay there till oct 18 n back kl.

at Hokkaido i haven do research for places to visit as I meet my friend at there. he wil bring me sight seeing, eat n shop at there. will update u when i know where i going. for tokyo i wil stay at ueno there. places to visit mostly around that area, akihabara, ueno park, tokyo skytree, aquarium, asakusa n mayb far a bit shibuya.

WTF!!! I travel from Tokyo to Sapporo on Oct 11!!!

AirAsia Japan has said the budget carrier will cancel hundreds of flights over two months before it ceases operations under the current brand at the end of October.

AirAsia Japan, operated jointly by Malaysia-based AirAsia and major Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA), will suspend 14 daily flights from September 1 to October 26, according to a company statement.

The carrier said the cancellations, which will reportedly affect 14,000 passengers, was because of a lack of planes to service all its routes.

The affected routes include flights linking Seoul to the central Japanese city of Nagoya and Tokyo to the northern city of Sapporo.

The carrier will cease operations by the end of October, just over a year after it started flying out of Tokyo's Narita airport in August.

Announcing the dissolution of AirAsia Japan in June, the Malaysian carrier cited a "fundamental difference of opinion between its shareholders on how the business should be managed, from cost management to where the domestic business operations should be based".

ANA however said the venture dissolved because it was not well known in Japan and could not register profits.

The Japanese carrier plans to launch a new budget brand in November.

How to know my flight got cancelled or not?

My flight chitose to narita on Oct 15 kena cancelled liou... Receive email from them d. They giv 2 option for me. 1) cancel n refund n 2) change to ANA flight.

The ANA flight is same day la... But land at Haneda. I think I just take the 2nd option lo... Malas 1 2 find another flight.

Received another email, now is Narita to Chitose cancelled. Airasia Airasia... apa macam punya...

Yup... They said stop operation after oct 31 ma... My flight is on oct 11 n oct 15. They cancelled my airasia flight and replace it with ANA flight. But flight time to chitose a bit late d. 7pm from narita.

Email no stated there need to top up cox they said it is due to their problem so they giv me option to refund or change to their ANA Flight. And they say they will refund the luggage fees, meal n insurance which i order from AA.

bak from japan last week. I took AAX return flight KL - Tokyo & ANA return flight Tokyo - Chitose

For me if ur flight time is more than 3 hours better don take AA. Really suffer bcox of the small & sempit seat. After i exp this, i think next time i rather add rm300 to rm400 for mas or JAL.

ANA service is really good. Really love to smile 1 n their staff is really friendly. Well most japanese in service line really always smile & friendly 1. When i back from chitose to tokyo they used a very big plane, i think is boeing 787. This plane is very comfortable inside, spacious & less noise from outside. langgar cloud also lik nothing d.

RC were correct... after settle the custom wil b 11.30pm d... by the time you come out, look for train or bus info half hour gone d... you may try to ask the info counter officer located at the exit the arrival hall for detail and they r very friendly to help d. Sleep airport la... rest till 5am then wash face & breakfast n catch the early train or bus lo... or u book the hotel nearest to airport lo... but since hotel there need to check out at 10am so i rather save the money for other purpose. btw i travel solo la... so the need to have good rest mayb diff from couple pair la... hehe... but i did see lots of ppl overnite at airport lo...

Haneda airport international terminal can le.... cox i went there n sleep at there last month... the seat quite comfortable la... and the security or police very frequent patrolling around d.

What credit card also can use 1. Just call your bank and tell them you going to japan from what date to what date then ok already. Agoda need to pay 1st. Booking.com is pay later 1 I think.

Bro... I went there solo hokkaido (sapporo n otaru) n tokyo on oct. I did study google map, street view, hyperdia.com n some books but I know u wil stil worry wil get lost cox I was thr same too but after u reach there u wil know is quite easy d. Trust me... I know u worry bout the trains map but the officer there is very friendly to help. example, just ask "sumimasen... Shibuya..." he wil point u which platform n train d. No worry bro...

Btw, I used up rm5700 including flight n hotel for 8 days.
