Hi guys,

I'll be in Japan (Kyoto) for 8 weeks (9th July - 14th Sept) to attend an intensive Japanese language course. This will be my first time going to Japan, so I was wondering whether anyone has any advice for someone like me, as in what to expect, what to bring (what to pack, how much to pack), tips and tricks to save money and what not, etc..

Hi guys, I need some advice. I'll be going to Japan for 2 months and I'm wondering about money. As in, am I better carrying cash or is it better for me to use credit cards? Or should I just buy a prepaid card, top it up with money and use it in Japan?
