You can buy from JTB Malaysia. They have office in KL, Penang & Kota Kinabalu. Also, you may want to chk out several agent like APPLE Vacation. They sell Disney ticket too.

JTB stand for Japan Travel Bureau. I bought Disney ticket from them. No need to queue at Disneyland Tokyo coz I heard the queue quite long just to purchase ticket.

QUOTE(peterhealth @ Oct 16 2013, 11:38 PM)

I use cash so no 2% surcharge. What is the RM20 for?? I bought mine at the same price from Disney itself. No surcharge nothing. I bought it during MATTA Fair last Sept.

Well, talking about convenience, just spend RM20 for queue jumping lor!! No need to queue so long in Disney biggrin.gif

QUOTE(carlitofreak @ Oct 17 2013, 07:17 AM)
Me too bought my Disneyland pass from JTB Kuala Lumpur. But they do charge 2% for any transaction using debit or credit card (which is sucks to me at least) and another RM20 surcharge per ticket. Haihhh.

Queue to enter is ok but queue to buy ticket is a big NO NO to me. That is why I bought my ticket in advance. Just imagine wasting time to queue for both buy tkt & to enter the premises.

Still have to Q 2 hours to entering Disney Main Gate on Peak Season.

I think so also. I purposely wait for MATTA Fair to see what offer they can give to customer. I bought JR Pass during MATTA Fair from JTB along with Disney tkt. I think I paid RM962 for 7 days pass. I paid everything in cash because I don't want to pay 2% charge for credit card.

QUOTE(carlitofreak @ Oct 17 2013, 11:39 AM)
Owh maybe because u bought it during Matta Fair, so it's kind of promotion not to charge you a surcharge of RM20 per ticket. If you go and buy it at their office (like me) then you need to add an extra RM20 on top of the amount of the Disneyland Ticket.

But speaking of convenience, then you are right lah. Because JTB will issuing to you the actual ticket and not sort of voucher to be exchange for a ticket etc. So you will probably save more time not to Q up etc while you are there.

No China people during that CNY period?? I saw China people everywhere in KL, Singapore, Thailand during CNY.

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Oct 17 2013, 01:28 PM)
Japanese New Year celebrated at June.  Ends of Jan only those Chinatown celebrate CNY only.  CNY in Japanese are not public holiday.

Japanese one whole year only 2 Peak Season
One at End of April Early of May ...7 Days ''Golden Holiday''
&
Japanese Bon Odori Season.  At End of August Early of Setember... 7 Days ''Golden Holiday''

Avoid Golden Holida at all cost...ALL COST.....you will never get any Shinkansen ticket , Air ticket.  All fully reserve to Japanese.  Foreigners Fxxx off.

You have to Avoid Taiwan & Korea Golden Holiday also  Because they are so closed to Japan.  For them going Japan is like Malaysian going Singapore only.  So Japan that time will be full of People.

Other than That.....that all.....

Example...Why ends Jan early of Feb , Japan will alot people at Disney?  Those people 70% will be Taiwanese.  Due to CNY golden 1 week Holiday in Taiwan...alot Taiwanese will shoot out to Japan.
So you you guys say what is the Best time to Visit Japan?
Whole July + Early of August ...Summer Season....hottest season.  Guarantee no people everywhere.
Or November.  Autumm Season. All people will working hard to preperation December X'mas and New Year celebration. November All japanese will work hard no time to play.

Chk this out

http://tokyofoodcast.com/index.php/et-chan...halal-food/107/

QUOTE(deladela @ Oct 18 2013, 12:52 PM)
Hi Guys!

If i could please get some information, I would dearly appreciate it. As I have read from the front page, I'm guessing that there are restaurants which do not serve pork and is deemed halal but without the JAKIM cert or even the HALAL logo being displayed and some people may be alright with that.

However, the group that will be heading to Yokohama, Japan next month might not be as liberal.  unsure.gif  I hope that you guys and gals could help me in recommending some of the restaurants which are HALAL certified and approved. Below you would find more info:

Place of stay : Intercontinental Yokohama Grand
Group type : Doctors & Corporate Travelers
Meals : Dinner

I hope that some of you could share your experiences in finding HALAL food in your travels to Yokohama! Please do recommend me some! I hope you could separate the HALAL certified one from the HALAL but without the Logo one.

Thanks! Much appreciated.  smile.gif
