Actually taxis are expensive. Even after arrival at Haneda thru Air Asia, you can still make it by train to your hotel. Try to get hotel near to JR line if you buy JR Pass. We stayed at hotel vintage, near Shinjuku, within walking distance from the East Exit. Immigration and Customs is fast and from Airport, can take the Keikyu line to Shinagawa, and then transfer to JR Yamanote line, no need bus.

Go to front page of the Forum, you will find lots of info, such as JNTO, wikipedia, but the most useful is Japan-Guide.com.

From experience, it is not worth to go to Imperial Palace at Chiyoda, as you can only see the walls and you have to walk quite far. Tsukiji for the auction, it is limited to 40 people on first come basis for those who register earlier. They dont allow visitors to go to actual fish market, only after 9am, as lots of mini transporters are moving around, sending things, packaging and repacking activities. There are long queues at the popular fish stalls, so in the end we ate eels instead of Salmon !!

Hope this helps.

because you know so well about Japan does not mean you can say bullshit about other people who post here.

How do you know if I did not do my homework? That's just your level of thinking.

For me, you're a freaking disgrace to this threat. Always talk about your 'homework shit' and keep screwing people when you 'THINK' they did not do their 'HOMEWORK'. seriously, I don't know why you like to annoy people that way. If you can't say anything nice, just learn to shut up. I don't care if you think I'm still stupid to come up with this itinerary after googling about Tokyo and also reading this thread.

I came here to ask for comments generally. I did not come and say "SIR RegnetCid, could you please mark my paper". So damn disrespectful by snapping at people's comment like that all the time.

How would you like that if i do that to you. Honestly, I think you are a disgrace for this thread with this kind of attitude.  Luckily you do not work in Tourist Info centre in Japan.
your mom consume too much sour food during her pregnancy with you? people's comment also you want to comment.

He is an arrogant prick. He couldn't even write grammatically correct, just ignore that guy.

From that guy mess schedule...he only Visit Tokyo. So he won't need any JR Rail pass. BTW JR Rail Pass are useless in Tokyo also.

Try gooling SkyTree's tickets. The tickets can be booked before hand before u go there. Tsukiji is best go at 5am. Considering the nuclear leak in Fukushima... Do you still intend to eat seafodd there? a friend of mine living in Osaka (next to Fukushima) told me that they'd stopped eating seafood. You might only resort to chicken, beef, lamb and urmmm pork (if u are not a Muslim).
*
No, not muslim. Yea, guess we won't be having any seafood this time. Kind of a waste.. So skipping tsukiji.

I'm thinking of going to Tokyo Metropoliton Gov Building for view.. or Tokyo Tower.. instead of Skytree.. Mori Tower also has got nice view biggrin.gif You have any idea which one is better?

You quoted the wrong person about the first para ^^ I think that's imperialrealcs smile.gif

I've checked out about tsukiji but think i'll skip.. due to the recent news. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3021.html
I'm taking airasia back which is late night flight but my aunt is taking another flight at narita and she wants to leave from our hotel @ shinagawa at 4pm. So i'm not really sure what we can slot in on the last day.. if there's really nothing much @ imperial palace, i guess i'll have to think of some other things to slot in. Thanks for the info smile.gif

I hope it won't spread to Kansai area. I want to eat seafood as much as possible.

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Sep 6 2013, 05:56 PM)
Important news here:

Today officially govt ban all seafood from Aomori, Morioka, Sendai, Fukushima, Ibaraki and Chiba.

Due to seriously leak radiation water into sea.
So far no effect on sea which near to Tokyo & Hokkaido

Japan local flight luggage size measurement is smaller than AA requirements. I took Skymark and AirDo before and our hand carry luggage need to be checked in. Weight depends on individual airlines. AirDo charge more for overload, Skymark less
