anyone got kyoto guest house to intro
going this october nw looking for place to stay
plan to stay at kyoto for 5days , using JR pass to visit places like Hiroshima and Osaka
izzit a good idea to travel like that?

currently i found khaosan guest house and utano youth hostel in kyoto
not sure with 1 to choose
khaosan guest house is near to city , but its small and kinda lack of japanese style compare to utano
utano youth hostel is far from city , more like a village style , i kinda like it , but i worry transportation might be a problem?
any advice?

Not really need JR rail pass if going Osaka , Kyoto and Hiroshima.

This 3 City you mention mostly are Private Operator Rail and Bus and ropeway, etc etc.....

i have roughly calculate the cost
bullet train to kyoto frm tokyo is rm450 one way
so i guess i will buy JR pass since i can travel more places with that
i will be staying at tokyo for 8days and 5days for kyoto osaka and hiroshima
i tot there is JR bus at kyoto?No?

If including Tokyo then JR pass will be needed.
JR bus at Kyoto are mostly express bus. City bus nop.
