I am travelling to Japan for 2 weeks with my husband starting on 18/10/13. I am muslim too but why I am not worried about halal food because if you can't find halal restaurant, you can either choose vegetarian food or seafood. Simple solution. On another note, you can bring canned food from Malaysia.

Brader, I need a confirmation from you abt charger in Japan. Some friends tells me different story so I am not sure which one I should follow.

We need transformer to charge our handphone, laptop, camera while in Japan, right? Their voltage is 100-110v, but ours is 220v-240v. I don't think we can just plug in to charge without transformer. Pls enlighten me.

Early of November will be around 18 to 15 celcius.

They are using 2 pin plug. That's mean I need to use universal adapter.

I bought 2 pin small plug while I was in Korea. Small & light. But can't use it in Japan because the pin is round.
