I jus came back...
during my japan domestic flight naha to sapporo to kansai,
they open all bag oso... fanatically searching donno for wat...
if got bottle, they will do test with machine and ask u to take a sip
and if they found umbrella, they take it out and rescan the xray
same goes for lighter and match..
I think they r in orange level alert for terrorist attacks

japan check out time is 10am... check in is 3pm
but most of the time, if the room is available u can check in as soon as u arrive
the earliest one i check in is at 8am
and u must check out by 10am!!!

i didnt buy 3g... coz i fall in love with 7-11 free wifi... called 7spot
and the 2L mineral water they sell is the cheapest... 98yen oni

fyi i dont dare to drink their pipe water, very strong chlorine smell

and while im in japan, i use car rental most of the time
coz okinawa and hokkaido i dont use train, it doesnt fit into my itinerary
most of my item in the the car trunk

ohh i will say yes, u can alwiz checkout earlier and leave ur baggage at the frontdesk
