Haha. I wonder whether the sky is already dark around 6pm or not. Wanna take photo of the rainbow bridge before going to Haneda.

Interesting, I did comparison analysis between two modes of transfer. Starting point Namba Station, ending point Tokyo Station.

Option 1:
Namba station >> KIX to NRT using Peach (~Y5000) >> Tokyo station using NEX
Total: Y8390
Time: ~6 hours including waiting time

Option 2:
Namba station >> Shin-Osaka station to Tokyo station using Nozomi (~Y13850)
Total: Y14120
Time: ~4 hours including waiting time

extra of just ~RM180, gain 2 hrs + nozomi + view throughout the journey
concern: will there be ticket available for paying on the spot

3rd Option
From Namba go Osaka Station // Umeda Station
Walk to Umeda Sky Garden Tower
Take Night Willy Express Bus to Tokyo

Choose ''Cocoon Luxury space seat''  brows.gif  brows.gif

Cheapest also most comfortable

wah, really got such thing in a bus!

There are so many varieties. I LOL at those with head hoods biggrin.gif I will totally consider this cocoon if i am traveling alone. Overnight journey, save 1 night at hotel dy.

Let's see what price I can get for Peach and then i will decide which option.

Peach Airline landed at Narita Airport.

From Narita to Tokyo City still have to ride a expensive NEX or Keisei Express
*
Yalor..i am trying my best to avoid Narita..at least i have been to Haneda before so I know the navigation and nearer.

Yeah man, i don't dare to snap photos there. These guys look menacing. The pic with the dogs, looks like they were confronting the poor dude with the camera.

Its a dilemma when taking Air Asia to Haneda due to touch down time is close to mid nite. If any delay means either sleep over at airport or take a expensive taxi ride to hotel. Not forgetting you already paid the room for the day itself.  rolleyes.gif

I had this same concern last time so I booked a room at First Cabin as I didn't wanna take chance. Luckily this time I am entering through KIX and I selected the midnight flight so that touch down in the morning. Save one night hotel cost biggrin.gif

Aiks....sorry, it was meant for Mikehuan but ended up replying to you. BTW wanna ask why didn't you visit Omoide Yokocho Izakayas since it's also on the western side.
*
Setting shinjuku as base (hotel) played a large part. I will only return to Shinjuku late at night and feeling dead tired. I can't even find a time to go to the Tokyo Metropolitan observatory even though it is just within walking distance doh.gif

Hi people I've been following this forum just in case I'll be going to Japan.I really enjoyed the senior members' explanation and answers throughout this forum.
This 30th Ill be heading out to Japan (from KL to KIX) for about a week.Since this is my first time going to Japan,I wanna go to the mainstream places first. The cities that I'll be visiting would be Osaka and Tokyo.I haven't done my itinerary yet,can any of the senior members suggest to me where and what are the best places that I should  visit?
*
Difficult to suggest as diff people diff interest. Start from here and see what suits you.
