I don't like Keikyu. First time arrived Haneda, wanted to try Keikyu to Shinagawa -- took wrong train!

I am aiming to head to Osaka/Kyoto during Autumn Season next year, which is end of Nov/Dec.

RC, from your experience, do you think the cost of accommodation will be affordable during that time (not shoot up crazily like in Spring time).

Got heard of this news.....this will be good
Route start at 2014 March 17
if go too many city...you will miss alot.

Tokyo Part you miss Harajuku , Tsukiji , Tokyo Tower , Sky Tree , Asakusa , Ueno

Osaka Part you miss Umeda , Sky Garden , Namba

You miss Nara
*
Coming from Kyoto where I will be covering those shrines and temple, is Nara really worth going as a side half day trip before heading to Osaka? Kofukuji and Todaiji looks interesting so far.

And do you have any recommendation in Osaka/Kyoto for Kaiseki dining that is not tied to ryokan and affordable? I came across Giro Giro Hitoshina.

For Osaka-Kyoto-Nara, it is a good or bad idea to set Osaka as the base and travel daily? JR Kyoto Line require about 30 minutes only and cost 540 yen from Osaka Station to Kyoto Station.

Where to keep luggage at Nara?

Booked KUL-KIX and HND-KUL, end of Nov 2014. (1 week)

Will need help from sifus here again. Should be no problem with Tokyo, but first time going to Osaka/Kyoto.

No proper itinerary yet as it is 1 year away doh.gif but just some rough question.

1. For Osaka-Kyoto-Nara, it is a good or bad idea to set Osaka as the base and travel daily?

2. Where to keep luggage at Nara?

3. From Osaka/Kyoto to Tokyo, it it worthwhile to buy JR pass for the Shinkansen or just fly with Peach?

Thanks
