I also used the post dated cheques method.. But the terms, really scary.. But for post dated cheque method, u can stretch the installment up to 24 months.. Can have more cash flow in hand..

Mind sharing who did u speak to ? From developer side or lawyer ?

Guys, any idea when would the first drawdown or progressive payment request by the developer will be? Still awaiting my loan offer letter.. Kinda scared would incur some penalties if the drawdown was soon. I checked with a banker n he advised normally it's 3+1 months from SPA date for us to settle our loan docs n loan agreement with the developer. Is this true?

Nope, i dint receive any mail about developer redraw money from bank. The interest start charge us when certain progress done by developer and asking money from bank.
