I still have wonder whether our LCP does contribute to earlier "retirement" of the belt.

Either way, if LCP does contribute to this, I still think its worth it even if paying near a hundred buck for the belt (maybe higher price coz he stock very few of it and its original). If I'm to take out LCP, I don't think I can live anymore with the tak boleh jalan punya auto....that means either I drive with LCP or I sell the car... tongue.gif

So from now own, I will check very 30-40K mileage or so...and change if necessary.

Mine also like that but not ask wet as the picture. Then i open up the cover. I use my torque spanner tighten the screw, (the nut that the cover screw in) seems a bit loose than normal. Clean the area with soap water and now still monitoring the leak. So far after 1 week drive no sign of wet spot. (Haven't full rev the car yet).

I saw so many of you having valve cover gasket leaking, I went to take a peek at mine.

As a fast and furious driver, can't escape from this fate as well. Since the car is only 1 year old with 17000KM, I will try to get Proton to do it for me.
