we swap gearboxxxx

Too quiet also complain kah !!!!!

I love the seamless drive of CVT (at least for the City). If you drive it like an auto or manual, of course you will feel no power as a lot of ppl have complained abt City CVT. If you understand CVT optimal pickup climb and driving characteristic and adjust your driving style to it, it can have a very balance, enjoyable drive with very good pickup (no over-rev). If you like to rev, it does not correspond with CVT FC saving optimal pickup ratio driving style.

I highly recommend this bar..  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif
I didnt think it would make much of a difference until i installed it.. cornering feeling very very solid..

UR strut bar will improve handling a lot but it comes with sacrificing comfort especially when going thru rough roads and bumps. I think the stock PE handling and comfort has achieved an optimal balance. Installing strut or similar stuff is going to tilt this balance to better handling but lousier comfort.

my frn honda city E same fc like me. except for the previous one honda city idsi.

tat one superb fc but i feel less power.

when wan speed, bo kick.  whistling.gif

I'm also having a City 2006 VTEC. Believe me when I said, in terms of torque and acceleration pickup, it can kill PE anytime, even with a LCP on. I seriously doubt the new City will have fc like PE unless your friend really heavy footed.

fc is acceptable...jz wanna try out some stuff to reduce fc.i c honda city fc is good... hmm.gif can consider to buy that car... hmm.gif

After experiencing PE handling......city handling sucked big time, even with a rear cross bar (behind rear seat) and 4 point UR front strut bar.

true that Nuff said!
btw ur city fuelly record very nice... thumbup.gif
test drive my fren newly bought city 2 weeks ago...i like it for highway cruising/relaxing mode city driving. for hard cornering... shakehead.gif

Yeah, cruising is fun due to smooth uninterrupted drive with not much engine noise. That city fuelly is practically 90-95% city drive in Klang. Avg 13km/l.

When I last drive to Damansara daily via NKVE but jam in Klang and PJ, it hit at avg. 14.5km/l to avg 15.5km/h. I can fill an full extra tank every month vs PE fuel filling now.

shud be.. he told me 30L for around 350-370km.

100% city drive.

any big diff between idsi n vtec? the one i test drive is idsi.
*
Low range torque wise, idsi a bit stronger BUT when hit mid-range and above, idsi will begin to struggle after 120km/h. That's where vtec excel when the 2nd rocker up moves...VTEC activated. Once activated, speed will goes up so smoothly and effortlessly to 140>160>180 very easily. 88hp vs 110....that is both with minimal torque loss due to CVT tranny and electric steering.

iDSI was discontinued later BECOZ although in closed environment testing, it saves FC better than VTEC but in real life, its actually not much difference in FC savings, a minor bit only. Overall performance especially at mid-high range suffers a lot vs VTEC thus could not justify the miniscule FC savings over VTEC. Overall VTEC performance is much stronger overall be it low range (almost similar), mid range (almost similar too but VTEC pull ahead much easily when approaching higher speed).

That's when idsi consume fc like mad coz not enuf power to climb. VTEC will also makan minyak like mad once activated but the way it zoom up to 180km/h is so effortless its worth it if you're in a hurry.

The meter cluster of VTEC is a bit cartoonish but I like it a lot.....similar to sport meter vs the boring meter of idsi.
