Hi all, I'm looking for a Xbox 360. It's selling for 660 sgd over here in sgp right now but I'm not sure if there's a cheaper deal around or not. But anyhow I'm a Malaysian, I can come back to get 1 anytime I want given that it's cheaper to get one from Malaysia.
So, any suggestions? I seriously think that 660 sgd is abit too expensive. Thanks!!!

660SGD = ~RM1500

That's pretty much the same price of buying in KL. If you stay in Singapore just buy one in Singapore so you can claim warranty easily

Yeah, RM 1500 is basically the normal price.. unless you can get any of the underwater one.. but that's quite impossible. So.. just buy from Singapore..

kl shops also getting it from singapore sure got markup the price a bit. better just buy in singapore then.

try some smaller retail game shop in sg....or try ur luck in sg yahoo auction

last i check..in sg wang..xbox360 was 2999 bux..i was like "wtf?! "

Thanks folks for the information, I just checked a few other shops at Funan square. There's 1 offer 660 also but with 20 dollars discount on games. Another one selling 640 dollars.
Guess it's too expensive for me now. I will go for a ps2 that cost 250+ dollars for this moment. Later got more only get the xbox 360 lah.
Btw, one game cost 69.90 sgd here, how much is it over in KL?

Games are around the RM160 price line, again.. pretty much the same so just get what's convinient for you.

The machine costs around RM1500+ in KL.. while the game costs around RM160.. Remember to check the region and stuffs like that.. If can, test your console first at the shop. Before I bought mine, found out that the controller which comes with the console got problem so I changed it..

that was around few months back when i check..but the buyer didnt had any problems with the price..his mom whipped out a credit card without question...tested it..tadaa..he's off with a new xbox360

PS3 uses Blu-Ray dude. Blu-ray is much more expensive than normal DVDs

and blu-ray will be the winner for next gen dvd. just like all sony propriety format, betamax, memory stick, ATRAC, UMD.

UMDs are pretty good if you love portable gaming. they arent the most hardy of things tho. i havent broken one YET tho. Memory stick works relatively well if you like sony. Blue-ray is just too expensive IMHO. maybe when prices drop we invest in blue-ray but now? nu-uh count me out.

They are the distributor of the xbox 360 in singapore lah. They don't sell to normal consumers, only to resellers, I don't think you can get from them lor. Unless you know someone inside there for some staff purchase maybe?

Yeah about RM1,500. Bro Djinn is doing a bulk from singapore and the console is RM1,480 with transport included (i think) and the games are RM154.90 check out the bulk v3 thread. maybe it close soon i think . .
