Rainlendar and Rainmeter seems light enough to run on system with 1GB RAMs.. might work for system with only 512mb RAMs too.. wink.gif

Thread splitted

I ran samurize, avedesk, styler, rk launcher (total less than 10MB) on my 512MB windows.

Most of my mods are not for showing them on desktop. (hacked system files, edited menus, removing UI elements)

Memory management by windows is not really that good and there are many debates over this topic as well. I'm not going to the exact detail since this is already off-topic. But just wanted to give you that idea.

Anyway, running all this bling bling not only consumes RAM but processing power as well. Please keep that in mind.

Personal experience, WB5 consume much more memory than UXTheme because the patcher just hack the window protection so that we can use other theme besides the default Luna theme. WB5 on the other hand , its another software to modify the theme which uses a different format (.wba)

Some ppl prefer WB because it has alpha-blending but too me, I prefer VS more cause there are more choices thumbup.gif

ps: using Eternal 1.2 , the VS 1 is much more nicer while the WB5 eternal startmenu shakehead.gif
