Plot
The school romantic comedy of Golden Time revolves around Banri Tada, a college student who lost all of his memories before his high school graduation. The story follows Banri, Kōko Kaga (a girl whose seemingly perfect looks belies her hidden regrets), Kōko's significant other Mitsuo Yanagisawa, and other students at Banri's college in Tokyo.

My first impression of this anime is the same as when I was watching Sakurasou first episode.

I can tell after watching the OP, Kaga Koko and Tada Bandar will be together.

Anyway, I'm just going to wait till they get to the most interesting parts of the series. I need shit to hit the fans.

I'll just drop you a hint: Takemiya Yuyuko of Toradora wrote this.

I see the source material as having a low-key start before it starts going into full carpet bombing on your emotions later on in the series. And yep, I'm in this just so I could see them break down.

If you don't plan to follow this week by week, I suppose you would do good by marathoning, but you'll either still feel bored by it or having your brain parts that experience sad things getting nuked badly.

Koko, the classic overly attached girlfriend. Kesian a bit for Mitsuo.

Seems like JC staff put more budget for this then Little Busters Refrain.

No wonder I find the theme familiar... rupanya Toradora! author...

That's it. The moment I saw the author and the PV, I know I have to follow this anime.

It's appropriate for me. Toradora was the last anime I followed religiously, and now, here we go again!

I think not many people will follow this anime. Its because

-The setting is at university lifestyle instead of high school life.
-The heroine is not flatchested and no Shana look alike which has in Taiga
-No Kugimiya Rie

As for me, I do like this anime because for me, university setting > high school setting where it reminds me of my favourite manga, Ah My Goddess.

Bbbuut Koko does look like grown up Taiga

Anyway, love its university setting too. Much more relatable to to the current me haha.

Barbara makes me go lolwut? I'll admit, EP3 makes me go hnggghhh on so many level. Now I definitely gonna follow this every week.

The storyline and drama from this anime amused me, but the quality is really sux.

And lol at that Barbara part. If a man keep forgetting a girl's name, its a sign that the girl will be friendzoned.

doesnt feel like from the same author as toradora. Toradora after watching 1epi i already addicted to it, but for this i watch it for the sake of same author as Toradora... Hope the plot will get better as it goes...

Toradora got loli, Kugirie, better quality animation maybe?

4th episode in..and...dat development

i'm confused. i thought male protagonist wake up from amnesia and lost somewhere alone without his family.

Episode 3 already explained everything.

He fell of a bridge the day after high school graduation (somewhere in the neighborhood) and spent 1 year rehab in hospital. He also said that his relationship with his parents, teachers and friends also changed.

Did Banri and Koko just had sex that night. Coz Banri only wear a short pant after they woke up.

Ya know, in a dark room, when a man confessed to a crying broken heart girl soon after she got dumped by her boyfriend, anything can happen.

Of course not.
Else they will be cuddling naked in bed.

I wonder if Linda is the one that crash the scooter into Banri...

One night stand between Banri and Kouko.

Anyway, the progress between both of em is just too damn fast! Shocking considering Yuyuko Takemiya's style of slow progress (Shown in Toradora and Watashi tachi no Tamura kun).

I'm still trying to decipher Kouko's message in the end. Next episode preview doesn't show much abt that. Anyone know when Golden Time aired in Japan?

This anime got very beautiful story especially for viewer who loves NTR approach.

I like this week's episode theme YES or NO. Not to mention the development of the storyline now goes into serious mode.

But its kinda sad, the quality of the animation kinda like watching a low budget hentai anime. But it doesn't stop me not to drop this anime and I'll be stick with it till the last episode.
