QUOTE(vk9545 @ Aug 10 2013, 07:17 PM) Thanks bro. Well I went to perangin mall and komtar ict mall and ask about g46 and g55 nobody has the stock. They told me they dnt have stock because its a 3rd generation processor. They said if I wan, can order for me but the price is rm4099 they said and they dont know went will the newer 4th gen asus will came. Some stores even recommended me msi ge60 for rm4299. but I feel the quality of msi is not that good for that price. To much glossy and plasticy and the trackpad or touchpad is so flimsy and hard to press. Dad told me to get alienware 14 with 4th generation processor and nvidia gtx765m for rm4550. I got seen my friends alienware 14 and the quality is top notch. So now confused asus msi alienware? Which 1 any1 here thinks is good? Do help. get Asus G46 or G750JX(I7-4700mq,GTX770m/17"inch,RM5,399.00) ,Alienware.. hmm no i use own m14xR2 not happy with it... MSI good spec what you pay but ... MSI service center is joke... everything is NO or VOID warranty... joke "no cannot help you upgrade" "No msi don't cover that.." "No if bring RMA claim it take 3-5 weeks for us to claim from msi.." |

QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Aug 12 2013, 10:09 AM) 70C not that bad, i wonder how much temp when u play bf3... visual or color.. dont seem right... yes noisy... loud need get headphone... i don't have bf3, dead space3 temp go to 60C note: is play in full max spec...Bad picture quality? Very noisy when playing game? That's is not a criteria to be a gaming laptop at the 1st place x Edit: company of hero in full res and ultra detail FPS drop to 20fps... wtf i thought GTX 780m is all powerful lol (temp gpu 70C+ cpu is 88C+) hmm look like i need cooler pad 17 inch This post has been edited by Unseen83: Aug 12 2013, 10:48 AM |

QUOTE(horns @ Aug 12 2013, 10:47 AM) about the picture quality, its the matter of display panels (glossy vs. matte). also, once you're used to the 3dscreen with 120Hz, it's hard to go back. that's one of the very reason why i didn't pick up the g75jx in the first place. yes you correct... haha i tested it found out, me like glossy then matte... hurry up Asus sell me G750JH!!! the noisy part is common for gaming laptops, especially with high-end cpu/gpu. 70c is not that bad for a 780m if it's at room temperature. if it's not.. well.. it's better to give it a good thermal paste, clean up the fans/vents regularly, and use a cooling pad. x my msi CPU/gpu thermal allredy been replace with coolmaster artic silver thermal... should i start doin it once a week now?> lol (yes i can dissemble my notebook and i am noo |

QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Aug 12 2013, 11:01 AM) he got a non 3D laptop previously yea i forgot that too... 3D gaming laptop got better advantage than non-3D model in terms of picture quality. is loud.. when you on the fan boost.. imagine hair dryer... exactly like that...I not sure how noisy he is mentioning, but after my laptop is back from RMA, they change the internal fan it seems very quiet than the previous fan. But the temp still.... They ask me to bring my own thermal and help me paste, wat do u recommend? I got 2 unit but is for my own rig. |

QUOTE(horns @ Aug 12 2013, 01:37 PM) there are a few sellers at garage sales who sell ic diamond. hmm a point place to go purchase ic diamond.. thxas for the ram, it's safer to get the most compatible ones. i had a number of sales guys telling me that 1.5V is 'FINE', 'NO PROBLEM' to use in a laptop that should run 1.35V ram. well i know it will work fine initially. they didn't mention anything about long term effects when i asked because they started showing impatient expressions lol! x RAM yes best one the most compatible(identical) especially if you want make it as dual-channel and low latency(best) now with low voltage(1.35v but cpuid detect it 1.28v) yet running same speed is plus+ lol just price also plus... i got same word from seller of ram low yat"no problem boss! is just volt!" or "why buy low voltage no seller buy this ram the mark up price seller to high! buy normal sure work one!" the only error code i experience test on normal RAM is Watchdog_violation(window 8 user only) (error got to do with system SSD(firmware update needed) or incompatible memory in system) |
