it's a fully unlocked bios, with vbios mod and voltage mod.

idle sure ok 1. Problem may come when most of the laptop has heavy load and disperse heat slow and causing heat issue. Keep testing it on bro

Thanks bro. Well I went to perangin mall and komtar ict mall and ask about g46 and g55 nobody has the stock. They told me they dnt have stock because its a 3rd generation processor. They said if I wan, can order for me but the price is rm4099 they said and they dont know went will the newer 4th gen asus will came. Some stores even recommended me msi ge60 for rm4299. but I feel the quality of msi is not that good for that price. To much glossy and plasticy and the trackpad or touchpad is so flimsy and hard to press. Dad told me to get alienware 14 with 4th generation processor and nvidia gtx765m for rm4550. I got seen my friends alienware 14 and the quality is top notch. So now confused asus msi alienware? Which 1 any1 here thinks is good? Do help.

That's is not a criteria to be a gaming laptop at the 1st place 

about the picture quality, its the matter of display panels (glossy vs. matte). also, once you're used to the 3dscreen with 120Hz, it's hard to go back. that's one of the very reason why i didn't pick up the g75jx in the first place.

the noisy part is common for gaming laptops, especially with high-end cpu/gpu. 70c is not that bad for a 780m if it's at room temperature. if it's not.. well.. it's better to give it a good thermal paste, clean up the fans/vents regularly, and use a cooling pad.

he got a non 3D laptop previously yea i forgot that too... 3D gaming laptop got better advantage than non-3D model in terms of picture quality.

I not sure how noisy he is mentioning, but after my laptop is back from RMA, they change the internal fan it seems very quiet than the previous fan. But the temp still....   

They ask me to bring my own thermal and help me paste, wat do u recommend? I got 2 unit but is for my own rig.

Probably the 120hz refresh rate problem . Once you use 120... you just hate all other screens and yeah I prefer glossy too! it gives out more rich colors.

as for the ram, it's safer to get the most compatible ones. i had a number of sales guys telling me that 1.5V is 'FINE', 'NO PROBLEM' to use in a laptop that should run 1.35V ram. well i know it will work fine initially. they didn't mention anything about long term effects when i asked because they started showing impatient expressions lol!
