I just purchased a RM280 DViX readable DVD Player. Pioneer 383.

Thus I can watch .avi movie at the comfort of being right in front of the TV (with the DVD).

But I have few movie in .avi comes with subtitle (.srt) file. These are the chinese language subtitle ... movie in cantonese.

I burned the .avi and .srt file (both with the same filename) into a CD but NO PICTURE appear in my TV.

Anything wrong here?

I also have French movies with English subtitle (.idx and .sub) -- but I am not sure whether I can burn into DVD and watch from TV.

Question:
1) .srt file can't work in Dvix DVD Player?
2) If answer is yes, any work around?
3) .idx and .sub -- will it work?

Thanks
