Look at gold investment thread... many ikan bilis now screaming lose money.. as if they expect any investment will go up forever in a straight line.  rolleyes.gif

But still many do still believe the gold up forever theory.. laugh.gif

Still a lot of people believe gold will rebound, going up etc.

I still don't understand why they claim gold is the safest investment. Then throw out terms like Gold is the real money, while fiat currency is rubbish paper.

While the fact that gold is still valued/ priced by fiat currency laugh.gif

China Sub Prime ?

Mark Mobius: China's Problems as Big as US Subprime

While China's housing market problems are similar in scale to those faced during the U.S. subprime mortgage bubble and its banks are rife with bad loans, it won't lead to another Lehman-style crash, Franklin Templeton's Mark Mobius told CNBC on Monday.

"real money" is dictated by fiat money (gold price movement is dictated by fiat money that wish to buy it) and can be bought by fiat money... tongue.gif

So how "real" is real? laugh.gif

That why I keep on remind myself one simple theory.

Crowded trade is always wrong in investment,
in other word, when more and more people screaming to buy, and more crowd are joining the bandwagon, then often the investment highly will go wrong one.

This apply across various investment target.

That's why I do not like to see a lot of people say good thing about reit... sweat.gif
and it makes me worry when people are rushing to buy property... and thinking property price always go up one.
