hi,

my gf is going abroad for studies soon.
i am trying to come up with a small and portable emergency/survival kit for her as a gift.
the point of this kit is to help her with stuff that I am not around to help her with or things that a girl would normally not have with her

the following has been some items which i have been able to think of:
multi-purpose knife, screwdriver, scissors, panadol, bandage, eye drops, matches, tweezers,
pen & pencil, torchlight, super glue, safety pin, tweezers, duct tape

Any more essentials which i might have missed?

A means of getting money in case of emergency would be top of my list. Far about bandages. How often do you use a bandage.
If she is going to be driving, membership of a breakdown organization.
You sound like a kind person.

Membership of a breakdown organization might be quite a task considering she is going overseas and time-consuming.
She is leaving in 1 week.

Without wanting to bang on about it, most countries cover the driver rather than the car.
In the UK it's AA or RAC, Switzerland is TAC, Belgium is RAC or BAA... you get my drift.
