How can i stop him from barking? How can i calm him down when he's in berserk mode? He dislikes people hugging him. He'll struggle to get loose from you when you try to hug him. He's strong & i always get blue marks on my hands & legs when i'm trying to calm him down.

Oops my bad. sad.gif
u follow syrian de advice lor..
first use cane to scare him first by hitting hard on the floor.. Warn him.
if he not afraid den hit the cane slighty on his butt..
if still dun listen.. hit slighty harder this time. i guess he will be afraid liao gua..
what is he afraid of ah moli ?
juz wonder if the cane doesnt work for him dun u have to bear with him for the rest of his life.. sweat.gif

"Tian bu pa , Di bu Pa"

I found out that he's afraid of one thing. May be i should use it to scare him but i'm afraid that when he's in berserk mode, he's not afraid of that. sweat.gif

QUOTE(White Palace @ Jun 28 2007, 07:20 PM)
It is always better to use a tool instead of hand if u need to punish the dog for wrong behaviour, so that he will understand when u raise ur hand, means sayang, but raise the tool, means warning.

BUt selecting the right tool is important, i would advice to use those flexible plastic ruler, if u hit, will sounds loud, but wont harm the dog. But remember, it still very dependant on the owner, if you are very strict and firm, even without the plastic ruler, u r able to stop anything.

Besides, u must hit at the right time, meaning on the spot, then the dog can understand.

Janice ... tha'ts funny "tian bu pa, di bu pa" .. hahahahahaha laugh.gif.  Then i guess babymoli has met up with a little devil brows.gif.

Ya .. what wp said is very true indeed.  Don't use your own palm to hit your dog coz they will misunderstand that whenever you raise your hand, u're going to hit them.  THen everytime when they see you raise your hand, they might run away.  But isn't rubber ruler very painful when you hit ?  And I think rubber ruler will break easily laugh.gif

Ya. I think i will use the cane to punish him whenever he does something wrong.

He's a devil when he's in berserk mode & he likes to bite. Must stop him from this bad habit. But when he's a good boy, really manja fella. doh.gif

Same goes to my boy. doh.gif

Currently i'm headache with his smartness. He managed to unleash himself from the leather collar he used to wear. From the first try & he managed to unleash, he did it 20+ times on that day till i got frustrated & straight chained him with the metal chain. Thought he can't unleash himself again with the metal chain, this morning my mum told me that he unleash himself again from the metal chain. vmad.gif cry.gif What i can do????

I checked on him. Not hurt at all. He lies on the floor & shrunk his neck like a tortoise then swing swing & yea... He's free. rclxub.gif I also scratch my head how on earth he can do that. The leather collar he's wearing is those like belt type not the clip type. I also don't know how he did it.

Hahaha... My friend picked him up at industry area in JB. But he couldn't keep him, so ended up at my place. That time he haven't weaned. Need to bottle feed this fella.

Yup. The method works. He slept soundly beside pikachu. He will stick near the pikachu when sleeping.

Hahahaha... Even my mongrel - Plue also on Orijen. First fed him with NutriEdge since he was pup. Then he lost his interest on NutriEdge, so change to Orijen & Blackwood.

O ya... Want to ask will it be ok if i mix both Orijen & Blackwood for him?
