Hmmm... seems Orijen is very new... I have not seen this in the market. Where do you get it?

Went through a website... Canadian made and very interesting protein ratio... 70% meat then the rest is fruits and fiber... low in carbs... might give it a try if I know where it is sold hahahah.... But I did let my dog eat Innova Evo before... fur also drop alot.... somehow only California Natural makes her shed less fur....

Spitz are very active. Pugs can be active too but are more laid back lah compared to spitz hehehe... I guess your pup has the qualities of both breeds. Really cute.

Well.... dogs tend to bite during play.... it really is a natural thing for puppies. If you beat her, you will make her think that playing is bad. What you can do is ignore her. When she starts to bite, stop your play and move away while saying No. Keep doing this and soon she will realise that whenever she bites, no playing. Also, get some chew toys and rubber or nylon toys to release her biting tension hahahah.... my dog prefers soft toys.

You can give your pup drink some gatorade.... the isotonic drink Gatorade coz no gas in it. It will help to give some fluids to your pup.

Still diarrhea is a problem lah. Is not about food. Could be got worms or something. Still never go to vet?

Never feed other types of food, especially human food. Once you get your pup used to human food, then she won't eat dogfood.

What brand are you currently feeding your pup?

I still think you must see a vet. Dogs that are hungry will eat dogfood no matter how tasteless it is.... if your dog is not eating and having diarrhea... got something wrong lah.

Alpo? No wonder lah your dog dun want to eat hahahah.... Actually, Alpo can cause diarrhea.... coz last time I foster a few puppies, the dogfood finish so no choice and mix with Alpo for the food to tahan. Wah, diarrhea a few days.... then I got a Japanese brand to slowly mix back and then no diarrhea... I guess your dog smart, dun want eat coz it knows hahahah.

Eukanuba, can always get the trial packs mah.... Many dogfood brands now got Trial packs.... Actually, all good dog brands cost more than the brands sold at supermarket.... so you cannot compare the food price wan.... more like paying fr quality. Super market brand is either commercial or premium quality. Royal Canin is considered as Super Premium. Then comes Holistic brands....

Dog got feeding time. You must never simply feed any time. Provide with a proper time. Like 8am and 8pm. If she do not eat in 1 hour, take the food away. Let her starve to learn that eating got proper time. My dogs will always know morning their food is either 7am or 8am.... at evening is 7pm makan.... if no food ready by 7pm, they will be restless.

I also think your pup is waiting for other food. She may be thinking "aiyah, if I do not eat it sure owner will give me something more tasty to eat. I'll just ignore and wait for the tasty treat"....

If she doesn't show interest for the noon meal... then you can cut off lah. Some dogs very stubborn and naughty... like my dog.... last time when pup, do not want to eat her food.... so I starve her till she too hungry so no choice so have to eat. This teaches her a lesson that food must be eaten hahahah.... luckily my dog learnt liao.... if not I will have lots of trouble getting her healthy.

Maybe you can try california natural? It cured my dog's shedding.

Actually, there are blacks... but no breeder would breed out more blacks here coz majority do not like black. So if got more black poodles but cannot sell then how? So they are breeding those colours that got demand lah.

Hahaha... I also like black, that is why I got black rabbits and black gerbils. It is true that not many people favour black... but then blacks are really nice to look at when under the sun, can see the fur shine.

CN is good.... it has natural ingredients and no salt added. My dog is also sensitive to dogfood, always shed alot even if on Eagle Pack or Innova.... Nutro made her worst. CN brought back her glossy coat and full fur. So you will like CN. My boxer and lab also using CN.

Not everyshop sells RC for dogs.... I see more for cats... I know Pet Family has for cats but I can't recall bout dogs lah. Pet Safari carries RC for dogs.

Learn to do yourself loh.... Grooming shih tzu is quite easy leh.... My shih tzu has never been to a groomer before when he was alive. I groomed him myself since I was 9 years old heheheheh...

Well, all groomers go through trial and error.... step by step hahaah.. but if you keep the traditional shih tzu style, very easy to groom.

Hahaha... I didn't use grooming set. Only a normal dog bristle brush, a toothcomb and a pair of scissors....



I miss my old Willy boy.

Well, I got my 1st dog when I was 4 but since I was young, no need do much so my dad takes care of it. Then when I was 6, my family got a dachshund and still my dad cared for it. So when I was 9 like that, I walk at Ampang point and saw this old man walking his golden shih tzu. For me, love at 1st sight hahahah... I talked non-stop about shih tzu. Beg my dad to buy me books on shih tzu so he told me, "Get top 10 in class, then I buy for you". So I made it, got number 8 in class so my dad bring me to a breeder and I got my shih tzu. So long ago... but I still remember the day I took him home. So last time not many groomers around, so my dad told me to learn myself... so every month I groom and cut, train myself.... now I can still do some trimming and cutting lah hehehe... but I still use scissors to do it.

Yups, that time was lucky to find coz 13 years ago shih tzu was still new.... Rm1200 with MKA... no I see, many very cheap but I can never find back a black and white. His colour and pattern is quite ok, got star on the head, semi white beard, good tail.... one of a kind.... the breeder thought to keep him herself but then she think think, aiyah, let little girl take lah hahahah.... The dam was a golden and the sire was a black and white, he looks exactly like the sire.... then the breeder had 2nd litter but all were dark brown and white.
