QUOTE(Mr. Z @ Jun 16 2007, 01:01 AM) yeah ..Hahahha those picture really poison me too...Hun's furkids is too pretty and handsome . Tammy and Toby doesn't look like 7 years old already i like three of them espiecially adorable Chelsea !! Added on June 16, 2007, 12:51 pm QUOTE(Pennywise @ Jun 16 2007, 09:27 AM) A lot of dogs will lick their paws and private part there, then the fur will turn reddish. This is due to the climate in Malaysia and my breeder taught me to overcome this is by using a shampoo call MALASAP to wash it regularly when shower time. Just soak the reddish part like paws on Malasap for a while and then in a month, it will turn back to white. MALASAP so effective wan a?then i can recommend one of my friend buy this MALASAP for his shihtzu lor.. cuz the shihtzu paws' fur reddish wan.. I prefer stainless steel bowls or glass bowls. More hygienic and cleaner, healthier for the dog's health also. Plastic bowls can have bacteria growing if it got scratches on the bowl and some dogs can get allergies on the mouth.

I myself buy stainless steel also , cuz stainless steel easy to clean and i feel can long lasting , but i didnt know that plastic bowl bring bacteria to them , i just know those plastic bowl very easy to get scractches if use longer . Mochi , i think is better to buy stainless steel bowl to ur beloved furkid then This post has been edited by Digitral: Jun 17 2007, 12:08 AM |

Mochi , i think is better to buy stainless steel bowl to ur beloved furkid then Yah... plastic is ok for dry food but you know lah, sometimes we dump some wetfood in like fruits or meat or canned food, it can trap food particles in the scratches, then become bacteria.... Sometimes a dog won't show anything but some dogs will get rashes on the mouth. So better be safe loh, use stainless steel or glass. Easy to get stainless steel, can always use the human bowls or the one for pets. Coz my Tammy and Toby so big, my dad bought the big stainless steel mixing bowls for them hahaha... cheaper than the dog ones but Chelsea got a one for dogs since I bought during PetsWonderland sale at Rm6 only. |

Stainless steel should be better for your puppy, in my experience. As Hun pointed out, bacteria can grow on the plastic ones. As for clay or glass, I don't think it's a good idea for the puppy. Puppies can be very hyper and if you are not careful, the bowl could break. But if your puppy is pretty sedate, then no problem la.
