QUOTE(Pennywise @ Mar 12 2007, 10:09 PM) ihawk98, White Palace and other dog lovers! Yap, pups will change their teeth once. You do not have to worry much actually, but if you want to fasten the process but do not want to pull off the teeth youself, you can buy some chew bones for your pup to chew on, then the teeth will drop eventually. Even if the pup swallowed the teeth, no big deal. Dogs got how many set of teeth? My Casper is 5 months old and his first teeth broke today. I dont even know how it become like this. Is this natural like human changing their first set of teeth? It's danggling there and I want to pull it out for him but then scared he sakit. Asked my gf and she said nevermind, dont hurt him. I scared he eat it and cut his stomach inside (gigi taring)... So should I pull it out or leave it be? ADVISE!!! QUOTE(ihawk98 @ Mar 13 2007, 11:19 AM) not sure who you were asking but if it was directed at me, my dog eats Royal Canin mixed with half a tablespoonful of Caesar, with a pump of some oil supplement for his coat. Oops, forgot to mention ur nick, this is him at 3 years old: [attachmentid=203877] Your dog looks like very happy leh? Is it a westie? QUOTE(Pennywise @ Mar 15 2007, 03:11 PM) Wow, are you serious that Nutri SOurce is that bad?! Isnt that harmful for the dog's body then? I think I will stop feeding him Nutri Source then. Looking for other alternatives - perhaps Blackwood. What dog do you plan to feed Blackwood? If it is long fur dog, just to share my experience. I had been feeding Blackwood for quite some time, used to be satisfied, but we noticed that the poo is very hard & dry, although we are pleased that it is very easy to clean up, no stain at all after pick up the poo, but when time passes, we noticed that our dog's fur become much dryer. So now we switched to "Orijen", although it is much more expensive than Blackwood, but luckily we able to get breeder price. So far so good, the poo can see slightly more watery but still easy to pick up, i believe this means the food not so dry. |

QUOTE(Digitral @ Mar 15 2007, 09:47 PM) This is a holistic brand, attracted to the ingredient, 70% meat 30% herbs, vege & fruit. Market price for puppy 13.5kg is around RM197.QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Mar 15 2007, 10:16 PM) Hmmm... seems Orijen is very new... I have not seen this in the market. Where do you get it? Actually i get it directly from the marketer, since i am a breeder, he actually visited me & offered me breeder price. If you need more info, can PM me.Went through a website... Canadian made and very interesting protein ratio... 70% meat then the rest is fruits and fiber... low in carbs... might give it a try if I know where it is sold hahahah.... But I did let my dog eat Innova Evo before... fur also drop alot.... somehow only California Natural makes her shed less fur.... Cloudx, welcome to doggy family, where are you from? Maybe we can recommend you some good vets. Just for check up wont cost you much, at least you know the condition & age of your pup, after that you shall consider what is needed & whether you can afford or not.

QUOTE(terrorist @ Mar 27 2007, 09:42 PM) i don think she will drink .. she wont even drink her favorite milk that i make for her.. Actually your case is consider serious, vomitting & diarrhea for few days, she will be dehydrated & if left unattended it might be fatal.Healing Rooms is the one at Subang Parade right .. where's Mayo ? For now, you have to force feed her with glucose water to refill the liquid needed & retain some energy. If your pup has fever, then will be very risky as it might be parvo virus. But if your pup no fever, but got vomitting & diarrhea, the poo poo there maybe got some white tiny eggs, then it is very likely to be parasite. You really have to bring the pup to vet 2moro, must find a way. This post has been edited by White Palace: Mar 27 2007, 11:35 PM |

Jenn, if fur shed like mad i suppose it is more to food rather than shampoo?
But anyway regarding conditioner, to be effective you should purchase seperately, means not those 2 in 1 shampoo + conditioner. Coz to get the best effect, u need to mix the conditioner with warm water, then only apply on your dog, or else, not working one. |

QUOTE(Jenn77 @ Mar 30 2007, 02:03 PM) Thats what v r worry about.. last time he took Eukanuba Lamb.. then got skin problem, then v switch to Purina Salmon. After reading in the survey done by some US based company, they say Purina happen to be a 2 star dog food with bad ingredients. So v switch to blackwood 5000. I think I better switch back to Purina, coz when v used the sample pack for blackwood 5000, it happened to be ok, no diarrhoea .. now after a month consuming I see the fur shedding quite alot.. furthermore I cant determine maybe he's shedding season.. so anymore suggestions on what's my next step should be? Hey, juz noticed that the dog food i am feeding my dog now, "Orijen" is ranked highest as "6 Star Premium Dry Food" at this "Dog Food Review"!For those who are interested to see the reviews pls click the Dog Food Review! |
