Last time i read somewhere saying that you can apply corn starch (i think) on the face to reduce tear stain. Or u can apply it to the moustache to keep it dry, clean and white. I'm not sure if it's corn starch or some other flour (forgotten). Try and ask white palace. I think i read it in his maltese thread (forgotten) .

Oh ya .. Hepy shakes all the time lar when I bath him. It's as if i'm bathing together with him . When I splash the water on his body, he already started shaking liao . I always come out from the bathroom, getting wet all over .

ya .. try and cover the nose with ur "giant" palm so that the water will flow down thru ur hand instead of flowing direclty into your puppy's nose. That's what i do all the time... hehehe.

twice a week ar ?? A bit too much gua . Once a week is actually enough lor. I'm not sure about toy poodle - depends lor if ur pup is smelly or not. Hepy is odorless - so, i bath him once a week only. But of course if he gets all dirty - poo in the cage and stepped all over himself - then i'll have to bath him again lor jz like today . Instead, I jz bathed him two days ago . Coz if you use too much shampoo on your pup, it's not good for his skin and it'll make his skin dry.

I'm not sure if certain dogs have odor and some do not haf. But what i'm sure is the smell usually comes from the ears or the mouth . Usually the body does not have smell one. The smell is at the face . I clean Hepy's ears very often and i check his ears everyday. When i see little dirt, then i clean them for him. WHen i see got grow one or two hair, i straight away pluck them out. I din wait until the hair grow until lebat lebat .. then only pluck. So far, hepy does not have any odor, let it be his body or his head or his ears .. hehe. Jz completely odorless . Hepy's 4 months plus. Turning into 5 months old on 13th July.

hahhaha .. not sure will celebrate or not yet. Broke now .

No NO ... don't give muzzle just to stop him barking. Because when you release the muzzle, he'll go even berserk coz tulan already. In ur case, using a cane to sked him might be good. Not as in asking you to hit him all the time lar. WHen u ask him to stop, he won't listen, then u cane him once but dun so hard ya. If he din listen again, cane harder this time. If he listens to you and calm down ... give him treats and sayang him. Sometimes when Hepy is in over-excited mode, he goes berserk too and I use cane to sked him. I only hit him with the cane once last time when he went berserk. And now when he goes berserk, as long as he sees me with the cane (no need to hit him one), he auto becomes quiet and sit down.

Please don't use the muzzle on him. As you said, he is very strong and you always get bruises all over. If you put muzzle on him, you're increasing the risk that you might get bitten by him. A muzzle is a No No for your case.

Ya .. what wp said is very true indeed. Don't use your own palm to hit your dog coz they will misunderstand that whenever you raise your hand, u're going to hit them. THen everytime when they see you raise your hand, they might run away. But isn't rubber ruler very painful when you hit ? And I think rubber ruler will break easily

what is gamat oil? Use a forcep or something as shown in White Palace's sale to pluck lor. Jz pull the inner hair out lor to ensure that the inner part of the ears are clean and no hair. But dun pull until the outer part lar - will freak the shih tzu out coz painful . Pluck one by one or little by little. Don't sekaligus go pull out one whole bunch .... later u accidentally injured ur shih tzu's ears.

Wanna ask .... is vinegar really useful at eliminating the smell of dog's urine/poop on the floor??? Lately Hepy seems to have this bad habit back again. He always go the door there to pee/poo when I wasn't looking at him.

i'm also still using it coz i bought a bottle liao. But it seems like it's not that useful wor. Coz Hepy returns to the same spot to pee/poo when I'm not supervising him. Some more, I purposely put lotsa vinegar when I wipe that area. This morning, I woke up at 730 am ... i let him out from da cage and wait for him to pee. Then after pee liao, I gave him his breakfast and i went back to zzzz. I din put him in the cage ... i also dunno wud time he poo at the door there. And bite my door stopped into pieces . Last nite he played wit my door stopper, i used back that door stopper to slap his mouth. He's not sked
