So hard to decide.

QUOTE(micdy @ Jun 14 2013, 01:53 AM) I will see how it goes.. If I really cannot take the feedback of the space bar then I will mod it.. In the time being, just enjoy every bit of the tactile feedback.. Remember to get a good and sharp shear. I tried to use side cutter but they are not good. Now I am using the possibily imitation Plato 170 Shear from Taobao. Works wonders. Baru Rm10 sebatang. If want good quality and ori, get from element14. |

QUOTE(ainuddin @ Jun 15 2013, 07:18 PM) QUOTE(Human10 @ Jun 15 2013, 07:37 PM) Yar, regarding desoldering LED part, I agree. Desoldering LEDs needs a ton of solder, a plier and a good vacuum sucker. It is better to have a proper desoldering gun than using soldering iron + vacuum suck... BTW, the one in my link got non-LED version, get it for the sake of wireless. I recommend the Edsyn soldapult. |

Add solder forming solder bridge.
Reflow the solder entirely and pull out the LED. Use a good quality vacuum pump to suck out all the solder. Cheap ones will just make a mess. For Pb-Free Solder pad cleaning, recommended to get larger wattage iron. Otherwise the pad will be a mess as well. |

QUOTE(Human10 @ Jun 17 2013, 12:08 AM) MKC told me his 60% case thickness is 1.5mmNot sure he don't understand my question or if it is that thin. I like MKC's colors but imsto has the better design. MKC colors. Though there's gonna be some difficulty in finding a set that has a good color scheme that can fit this color other than white blanks. ![]() This post has been edited by kaiserreich: Jun 17 2013, 12:24 AM |

There are no concerns with Multicolor LEDs.The PCB must be well planned and multi layer. The smallest modules can go down to the smallest component you see on your motherboard. No worries. Just the technique in doing that is going to be copied by modders and other manufacturers when it comes out. |

QUOTE(kyrmian @ Jun 18 2013, 03:24 AM) Don't wanna scratch the YOTS? Ain't nobody got time 4 dat. I'm sure if you buy something costs that much, you would have extra care on it. From what I know, people put non slip mat under their aluminium keyboards, nothing could touch the keyboard anyway, save cost + looks better too. Unless people really so "smart" go do WHOLE thing put cover even covering the switch to prevent liquid from going in? People put non slip mat?I put my keyboards on my table and eat in front of the computer. Should I be sent to hell for this? |

Don't use newspaper wrap 1 layer outside, like that wrap like no wrap.
Don't use newspaper as padding, they are very heavy. Bubble wrap tesco got, Rm5 1 pack, ngam ngam 1 keyboard. Then use brwon paper wrap outside. That's how I normally ship the keyboards. |

You guys are too paranoid on POKER layout.
The only thing you need to memorize is the six pack location. Home, insert, del...etc. The rest, like F-keys and arrow keys are pretty standard. Hold Fn, and use WASD. Don't tell me you don't remember what WASD is for. |
