Are there any silent mech keyboards sold here? If it has illuminated keys all the better.

I'm using the G710+ from Logitech , it uses Mx brown switches and also comes with o-rings which dampens the sound a lot. I've tested it with and without the o-ring and can confirm that it is indeed much louder when there isn't one. Also , i came from a caplang rubber dome keyboard to this and that the sound is more or less the same as the previous one.

Only problem now is , there were a lot of LED problem from the earlier batches. I got this just last week (the salesman said the stocks came just this week , I'm guessing it's one of the newer batches) , no problems so far. Fingers crossed.

Hmm , was finding some stuff to do a thorough review , to find this. I'm no expert in keycaps , may i ask does normal ABS keycaps that comes with any LED keyboards have this "unusual cracky leakage"? Do note that the light used was at least 5X brighter (or more) than the one used on the keyboard , so yes , you can't see that when it is on the keyboard.

Leakage under the keycaps? Or what?

No la , just wanting to know the quality of the keycaps and do all normal ABS keycaps happen like the one shown in the picture , lights passing through those "cracky paint?" Only visible under my phone LED light though.

Oo , anyone wants to do a comparison? See which brand has higher quality default ABS keycaps. The one I posted was default G710+ keycap.

keycap quality is fine la. just the keyboard is...  shakehead.gif

Well , Logitech makes great products what , only thing is that this is the first time they are entering into the mech scene , so that explains the faulty earlier batches lo. But actually one of the reasons I wanted this is because of the O-rings included. So i took the gamble lol icon_idea.gif

Go home, you're being too paranoid.
Looking at the keycaps under super bright case does not fit into the typical use condition of the keycaps.

If you want to compare, do it under normal LED brightness.
Set the camera exposure to something that you are seeing with you eyes, not seeing with the camera.

Yes , that's what I've said in my previous post , it isn't obvious when it's under normal LED brightness. Thus , the whole point here is to determine the quality of the coating of default keycaps under bright light of course. Well , I know most doesn't stay on default keycaps and there's still some who does , hence the whole point of comparing and for reference?

Well , I am not an enthusiasts myself so I'm quite curious about the quality , that's all. tongue.gif

How does it have different feeling and softer compared to different brands? Those are still Mx Browns right? Different springs?
