Hah. Perhaps I confused you right there. What I meant was the led size to fit into the poker 2. And if anyone knows which led would be suitable ? The round headed ones or square ones. Many thanks.

QUOTE(rurushu @ Jun 22 2013, 02:07 PM) the round headed ones they usually need to sand them down (this is due to the cherry switch), the square ones (which the koreans prefer) im not sure need to sand down or not... but so far, havent seen one with square LEDs that are sanded down... I remember someone posted a taobao link that sells MX LEDs. Meaning rounded ones that doesn't need sanding. Have to go back to previous thread to find it. :/ |

QUOTE(Human10 @ Jun 22 2013, 04:14 PM) This shop's LED not bad, grouped the LED types nicely. I bought over 300 (3 colors) in one go from them last time and all are functional + no uneven brightness sort of problems at all. Thanks, can you show me the one for white ?http://shop34410686.taobao.com/?spm=2013.1.1000126.3.KVsdBi Basically, I will recommend this shape and size one for MX switches, since it fit in nicely. http://shop34410686.taobao.com/search.htm?...e&queryType=cat Here's the outcome of it (though in real life, it looks more greener instead of the lime in the picture) ![]() Cause some seems yellowish ? and is there a moq for them ? |

QUOTE(Human10 @ Jun 22 2013, 04:27 PM) This one, really bright white. The cold white. Thanks for the recommendation.http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10....&id=2109929126& For warm white, go for this http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10....id=18270707303& I think I'll get these instead though. http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10....id=13025250479& those will work right ? Since it's 3mm. I should get extra's when I order too yeah ? I scared I fail or some leds dies later on can replace And since you have done some soldering before, can you recommend which solder did you use ? Thanks again |

QUOTE(Human10 @ Jun 23 2013, 11:58 PM) 3mm should fit, but I not really sure bout the height of the led since it looks a little tall in the picture. Thanks bro, appreciate it. Yar, extra 10% is safe enough, it don't cost you much and is still dirt cheap compare to getting from local. For recommendation on solder sort of stuffs, better ask kai cause he is more professional on it, I simply hentam with any tools I can find at local hardware stores... Regarding the solder, wait till kai sees this then. QUOTE(0168257061 @ Jun 24 2013, 12:06 AM) As long as u see rounded head and æ— è¾¹ means it can be fitted directly. Alright thanks If you buy the one like "hat" shape, you need to shred the extra to fit, |

Actually blues aren't that bad for gaming.
Often streamers I watch on twitch playing sc2 uses them. Can just idle and listen to it all day. |

You just need to spam Q&W in LoL that's it. A normal board would be good. TKL if you wanna save space. This post has been edited by joonwei23: Jun 24 2013, 01:53 PM |

I think it's possible to source a white Filco from taobao.
I think one of the forumers here did purchase it before but he sold it off already. This post has been edited by joonwei23: Jun 24 2013, 09:34 PM |
