Im planning to buy Ducky Shine 2 but im still considering which switch i should choose. Im still a college student and i do quite a a lot assignments and also programming since im an IT student. I also play a lot of computer games. Can anyone give me a suggestion on which switches should i choose ? Honestly i like brown switches, is it suitable for me to use it ?  blink.gif

Well , Logitech makes great products what , only thing is that this is the first time they are entering into the mech scene , so that explains the faulty earlier batches lo. But actually one of the reasons I wanted this is because of the O-rings included. So i took the gamble lol icon_idea.gif

I remember someone posted a taobao link that sells MX LEDs. Meaning rounded ones that doesn't need sanding. Have to go back to previous thread to find it. :/
*
No such issue with round or square LEDs.
If anything, the round LEDs have the better shape to evenly disperse the light all over the underside of keycaps than the square ones.
As long as they are 3mm, they will fit. Unless you have one of those oddball vintage keycaps.

Here is how it looks like under a Cherry G80-3700HQAUS Numpad.
Thick doubleshot with round 3mm LED. If there were issues with round LEDs, Cherry would not have used it.

Hmm , anyone can clarify? Thanks.

Oo , anyone wants to do a comparison? See which brand has higher quality default ABS keycaps. The one I posted was default G710+ keycap.
*
Go home, you're being too paranoid.
Looking at the keycaps under super bright case does not fit into the typical use condition of the keycaps.

If you want to compare, do it under normal LED brightness.
Set the camera exposure to something that you are seeing with you eyes, not seeing with the camera.

Concrete load the chassis feel even more solid tongue.gif Will ask Rosewill to use thicker and heavier plate next time. It is like optical illusion tongue.gif

Why did you think the Koreans put brass weights on their keyboards?
It is very interesting how Ducky is turned into a premium brand in Malaysia while Rosewill is looked at as a lower quality one.
I have owned a Ducky 9 series in the past and I do have a FILCO now. I can't tell the difference in build quality.

Eh, I cannot say the same. They share OEM with one of those bad mech keyboards maker. O-rings are cheap too..

No offense but mechanical keyboard from gaming brands are nothing more than some rebranding jobs except for a few who gone further into customizing and designing itself.

Apart from a odder layout, there isn't direct cons. If you are lucky, you will find a fine one that are faultless throughout its life span. But if you are unlucky...

Btw, you can't say that you tried the solid feels of mech kb until you tried other boards. Also, price, quality and feature wise, there are better choices.
