Wow.. gratz to string for being appointed as an ambassador!

All for the hopes that they will recognize us all as a valid and worthwhile addition for an official launch one day, that is my goal.

Spoke to triXie a few times, and she took note of our growing community here. Hopefully, she could bring this up to the bigwigs so that we could stand tall side by side with our southern neighbour.

I'll be pretty busy during E3 week, so hopefully the newcomers arent that pushy or wanting. The problem is, i might have to vacate a few slots in my friendslist for that busy week.

There was a call for help on Xbox.com once, asking for fresh batchesof Ambassadors, first for the Verizon free weekend, and next for E3 and future gigs. I tried my luck, and was contacted by triXie after that. We spoke and chat, more like informal interview about what my favourite genres are, what my gaming background is, and so forth.

They were looking for people who are willing to work with Live newcomers, and be their gaming buddies, showing them a good time. A little bit of knowledge in how the system works, otherwise if i cant answer the questions being asked, i'd refer them to the technical folks in Xbox.com forum, or to people like MajorNelson himself.

One of the requirement of being an Ambassador is clean records though, no banned profiles or history of being banned in Live, or bad repo on your Rep.

I tried my luck getting selected for Frag Doll Friday, but i guess they reserve that for American gamers.
