Don't know what you're talking about being "scammed".

Kingdom Hearts 3 was never announced for the PS3, only fans pandai pandai make up stories.
Final Fantasy Ver.. I mean XV is coming to the PS3 as well. Scam what?

I have seen several news report that FFXV is coming to PS3 also. Can you confirm if this is true or not?

Yes, unless they decide to change something.

There will be more news about this from Square Enix tomorrow.

Unless SE releases KH 1.5 and the presumably KH 2.5 (it's coming, obviously) on the 360/Xbone then I don't see how KH3 on the Xbone alone will be a good experience.

The problem with KH is how confusing and messy the entire plot and timeline is, like it is even more confusing than MGS.
You can read up dozen of pages and watch walkthroughs on YT, but the KH experience just isn't the same without playing everything.

the bolded.

it's already all over the place, so why bother going for the previous games? just jump in the mess and have at it tongue.gif

Then gamers would want to buy a PS3 for KH 1.5 and 2.5?
Sony wins again?

Brilliant. laugh.gif

Bad news? Somewhat -

QUOTE
"Since the release of Kingdom Hearts II, I believe that many fans were feeling impatient due to our continuous releases of spin-off titles, so we decided to announce it at the same time as Final Fantasy XV. However, looking at the current development status, I think we may have announced it a little too early."

Some new details -

QUOTE
Kingdom Hearts 3 had its first trailer unveiled at last week's E3, but other than the fact it's a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game, we don't know much about it beyond the rumors of the past few years. Famitsu magazine attempted to get some solid answers out of director Tetsuya Nomura in this week's issue, and here are the results:

Nomura confirmed that KH3's story begins where Dream Drop Distance's left off. "We're proceeding along with which worlds we'll be selecting for the game," he said. "It's the final episode in the 'Dark Seeker' saga that began with the original KH, and it'll depict the final battle with Xehanort."

The new visual style seen in the trailer reflects the results of a long trial-and-error effort. "We spent a while figuring out what direction to take KH's visuals in the next generation," Nomura said. "Should we go for a more realistic look like in recent projects, or try something else? Along the way, we remembered that these KH characters were originally paintbrush art from Disney productions, a texture that was one of our original aims, and that it was time to return to that. So [chief creative director Takeshi] Nozue went through a series of tests, and the results are the visuals that we refer to in the team as the Kingdom Shader. It may look like a pretty drastic change, but I see it as a rich evolution of everything we've shown you up to now."

How is KH's gameplay evolving? "We have a demo version running on the actual hardware, but the action's pretty frantic. The really bold action we've always had is getting even crazier. KH3 has three-person parties, but NPCs and other characters join the fight in each individual world, and the resulting action is really flashy and exciting. The enemy AI is a lot more intricate, too, and I think the gameplay will reflect that new dynamic balance. For example, there's a foe that's shaped like a vehicle, and Sora may jump on it and fly around; that's already implemented."

It'll still be a while before KH3 comes out, but Nomura promised that it'll be back in the public spotlight soon, either at the Tokyo Game Show this fall, the Disney-oriented D23 Expo Japan event in October, or both. "The FF15 and KH3 teams are aware of each other," he said. "They're constantly honing their work at this point in development. Even though KH3 is still pretty early in development, it's already producing some great scenes in Square Enix's internal conferences. We're discussing new developments never seen in any KH before, so keep an eye on further updates."

BTW, that isn't Sora's default outfit. He has an entirely new outfit that hasn't been shown yet.

how low can SE go? they keep on releasing hd remasters of old games like there is no tomorrow.  yawn.gif

As low as they can, because the stats say: people bought 1.5 and 2.5 like there was no tomorrow.

So, yeah... they need something to tie-off in between now and KH3, which who knows when that will be (mid-2017 is the estimated guess).

Some new detaisl from Famitsu interview, via Siliconera - http://www.siliconera.com/2015/09/19/detai...nd-aquas-story/

So basically:

- KH 0.2 is basically a glorified demo of KH3 (think MGSV: GZ), its length is about "1 world" playtime in KH1.

- 0.2 usues Unreal Engine 4 apparently, as that's what Nomura is basically implying since it will be a PS4 exclusive and won't be available on PS3.

- 0.2 is exclusive for PS4, for now at least.

- KH: DDD is pretty much a remake. Since it required re-coding the game that was once running on 2 screens into 1 screen now.

The performance of KH3 on the PS4 and PS4 Pro is.... not good, but not bad either. Passable to say the least.

PS4 unlocked FPS = averages 50fps
PS4 Pro unlocked FPS = averages 41~45fps

PS4 locked FPS = 30fps with inconsistent frametime, judder is fairly obvious.
PS4 Pro locked FPS = 30fps, almost no judder, very stable.

Interestingly enough, the game does not support auto downsampling. So those on a PS4 Pro but still on a 1080p TV, you are locked to 1080p resolution unless you enable the forced supersampling option from the PS4's menu. That said, the average framerate on the PS4 Pro running at 1080p is 57fps, nearly locked 60 in many areas. BUT, if you lock the framerate to 30fps on PS4 Pro at 1080p resolution, you get judder just like the normal PS4 locked at 30fps! This is VERY puzzling.

Not sure what the hell is happening on that last part, but basically;

PS4 Pro owners with 1080p display - play with unlocked framerate OR force enable supersampling if you want to play at 30fps with higher internal resolution.

PS4 Pro owners with 4k display - play with 30fps locked mode. The unlocked fps mode is just too low and way too inconsistent.

PS4 OG owners - play with unlocked framerate, the judder on the 30fps mode is just like the same issue with FFXV. Squeenix can never get their shit together it seems.

Lol the "stable" mode is even less than "stable" than FFXV when it launched. How did they even managed to F this up so bad is beyond me, considering they shifted the entire game to UE4.

Anyways, the game doesn't live up to my expectations. The is so much bullshit going on that before I even reached anywhere near the end of the game, I didn't really care anymore. Nomura couldn't salvage the mess he had written and it's obvious that shortcuts and shoehorning things into perspective was done just so the series would finally have an "ending".

Welp, the charm lasted a good while but it never stood the test of time IMO.
