KINGSGLAIVE: FFXV had an early screening for public and fans in JP yesterday (and a few days ago for media & industry).

The film gets so many positive reviews and reactions from fans and media alike. According to filmarks.com (https://filmarks.com/detail/47684
), a JP website for film review, it receives an average score of 4.5/5.0 from 32 reviews. Lowest score is 3.5. Most people complain about the voice acting (JP dub isn't that great for this movie because 1. VA for Nyx and Luna is an actor and actress, not a traditional voice actor, 2. Lip-sync is synced for ENG version, not JP).

The message from JP fans who went to the early screening: "GO WATCH THE MOVIE!"

Being said that I'm wondering how many people here would go and watch the movie if it gets a theatrical release in MY.

Yup! It's done! But it'll only be shown in select theaters in the US starting Aug 19. Digital version is available via US itunes, Amazon.com and Microsoft Store. I pre-ordered mine through MS Store using a gift card, simply because I can't wait till Sept 30

Will GSC be the one responsible to bring it in or will it be Sony Pictures M'sia? Well, either one, I think I gonna spam their Twitters right now. lol

Hi all. I'm sorry for being the one who brought up the hype about the movie, but I've come again to bring a bad news.

I have no idea what happened, but since yesterday, the Kingsglaive trailer on GSCM Facebook has been taken down, and the movie details on both GSC as well as GSC Movie websites have been taken down.

Someone on FB asked GSC yesterday if it'll be screened at GSC, and they said that they haven't got any info from the distributor

Well, it turns out they actually just decided to postpone the screening to August 11.

What a mess. First, they shouldn't post the poster if they can't confirm the release date. Second, they shouldn't delete the entire details! An edit would suffice... It kinda caused an uproar on the FB page yesterday

There is definitely some humor in the dialogues - they are very subtle, very clever IMHO.

I sat farthest back and I felt alright with the action sequences. It depends on people, really. Again, as I said before, everyone has their own opinions, and theirs don't speak for yours.

Definitely has mixed reviews, eh. My friend brought along her friends to see the movie, one non-gamer friend is looking forward to the game, while another one wants to get a PS4 right away just to play the game

Those on my Twitter timeline like it too. They're huge fans, though.
