The open world is quite dead. Nothing. There's no background music or anything when I'm running around Ostium Gorge and Hammerhead area. Seriously? 10 friggin' years? Another disappointment.

There's trees swaying in the wind but would it be too much too ask from some wind (sound effect)? 10 years are not enough? Hello, Square Enix?

You can buy the portable music player in Regalia shop.
Thanks for the heads up. Much appreciated!

Sometimes I get rewarded with 1 AP for chaining some "fancy" combos/recovery. Anyway, I didn't redeem anything yet (inclusive Masamune).

7 hours++ and just starting off with Chapter 2. I got to say the night sky is absolutely beautiful. I hope they make random and more battle encounters.

I just discovered that HP does not regenerate in caves/tunnels. When I'm back in the open world, it slowly regenerates.

The damn "Portable MP3 Player" is up for grabs for 100 GIL. Fire it up by holding L2 in the overworld.

20 hours++ and currently at Level 33 with a pathetically accumulated 3,310 GIL. Where to get more GIL!!??

Good point thus far: Finally managed to know how the fishing mechanics work.

Bad point thus far: The camera angle during battle fights. I couldn't see what's happening (especially those battles which involved many hostiles).

Oh ya, the Warp Strike is broken too when I used that to erm...accelerate my travel. I know it's not usable in town area but in the open world, it should be working alright but I've tested many times and yeah, another overhyped failure.

Finding 5 yellow frogs at the Forgotten Pool is stressful when you try and do it in the dark. Luckily there's frog croaking sound effect or else I would have thrown my controller out of the window.

There's no GIL rewarded for killing monster in the open world? Only EXP points given. Zzz...

Did u guys ever try to sell the items collected from monsters?
Nope, I didn't sell a single thing.

On the side note, I'm now Level 40 and the only weapon I got is Flame Tongue (bought from a local store), Hardedge (picked up middle of nowhere) and Airstep Sword (bought from a local store).

How to get stronger and better weapons?

Engine blade ..... Easy to get and the last upgrade is even more imba than blade of wise .
I got the Engine Blade. I think I completed one of the quest (to find a rusted piece or something). I couldn't remember.

Anyway, jut netted an Allural Sea Bass @ 26.6 in. and 6.1 lb. laugh.gif

Cancel that. Got another same fish but bigger and heavier. 36.7 in. and 14.4 lb. The animation to hook that fish up is by using two hands (instead of one). All of them come near Noctis and Prompto will say "Nice job, dude!". Details taken into consideration.

Locale: Galdin Shoals
Time: Night
Lure: Hot Breather: Blue Dragon

I bought mine for RM249.10 from Viewnet at 3F of Low Yat Plaza.

You can obtain Glass Gemstone from Tonberry Knife. Too bad I had to kill that cute little creature.

Fighting Yojimbo and some weird creatures in the sewage is pretty much impossible. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING!

Good luck in Crestholm Reservoir. Yojimbo didn't kill me but the camera angle did.

I believe the right door is locked for the time being. You can explore to the left tunnels.
