Square Enix has announced its DLC plans for Final Fantasy XV, which include a series of single-player episodes focusing on Noctis' companions. The company has also announced it will be providing "gameplay enhancements" addressing chapter 13, specifically.
In a recent interview with US Gamer, Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata went into more detail about the changes coming to the game, and why fans should be excited, not concerned.
"The fans who have grown accustomed to playing traditional Final Fantasy games may feel uneasy about this unfamiliar initiative," he conceded. "That said, I personally believe the approach to updating single-player games, as we are doing with this title, will continue on in the future as a new trend." The company will be creating brand-new single-player content that allows players to not only learn more about Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto, but to control them as playable characters for the first time.

-The Eldest Moogle? is atop the large sign for the Square Enix Cafe that hands across an archway. He's easy to spot once you know where!
-The Second Moogle is on a statue. When looking at it, Noctis will be facing the north. The statue is holding a scepter (or something like it) and our moogle friend is perched atop it.
-The Third Moogle is a sneaky one - it's found on top of a gondola, and that gondola moves about. Keep an eye out for it on the shoreline. It's sitting at the very front of the gondola, on top of the chocobo figurehead. It might be easier to spot this little guy at night, since he lights up.
-The Fourth Moogle is in a location a little north of the Square Enix cafe. It's sitting in a lampost that has 4 different lamps coming off it. The Fifth Moogle will require you to hop on a Gondola to head to the Arena part of the town. Once you get there, walk dead straight - this moogle is chilling out atop the pillar in front of you.
-The Youngest Moogle? is your final charge and can be found hanging out on a windowsil. Either look east over a fence near the Square Enix Cafe or look up from the lower level while facing North-East - he's barely visible, but he's there!

Haven't checked back the altissia, I remember the last one I did in Altissia was Tonberry. Is there any Rank 9 quest in Altissia?
Yesterday I tried the level 87 menace dungeon. I never thought that the dungeon would be that long...... especially fighting against 4 tonberries. Really spend lots of time parry parry parry.... But in the end the dragon is even easier than tonberry @_@
Final Fantasy XV Director Hajime Tabata has once again reiterated that he'd like to develop a PC port of the game, but this time has added that he'd like to explore PC-exclusive features including - surprisingly - mod support.
"I’d like to release the game on PC as a technical attempt," Tabata said in an interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu. [Translated by Gematsu and via Hachima Kikou.]
"I want to show PC users Final Fantasy XV running on high-end machines, and we personally would like to see it, too. Also, I would like to try developing on PC to pursue a unique way of playing with PC-exclusive features like making your own quests and enjoying the world using things like mods."
This is a particularly interesting wrinkle, as FF15, with its large open world and large swathes of unused world, seems a particularly fertile ground for potential mods.
On that topic, Tabata also fielded a question on the idea that content had been cut from the game. Asked if story content was cut out of a necessity, he simply answered "Not really."
He also commented on the recent videos that show vast swathes of land unused in the main game.
"Those videos made use of glitches," he explains. "There is a large map being used on the train route in the second half of the game. Since that area isn’t completely made, opening it up as an area you can freely traverse is difficult as is.
"We might remake playable areas in future expansions, but since that would take a year, it is not currently in our plans. For argument’s sake, if we were to prepare new fields, Insomnia would also be a candidate, but that also would take a year’s worth of work."
Tabata also commented in short on a variety of issues, and we may as well quickly run down them: -FF15's Virtual Reality content is still in development, but there's no news on release yet. -Tabata is thinking about ideas to cut down fast travel loading times. -He'd like to allow players to freely travel more with the car in a future patch, but it's a difficult technical challenge. -Tabata realizes that fans who had a priority on story were disappointed by the game, but there has also been a lot of positive feedback.

You can get Episode Gladiolus as part of Final Fantasy XV's $25 DLC Pass. It can also be purchased by itself for $5, Square Enix has now confirmed. The other upcoming expansions, Episode Ignis, Episode Prompto, and the multiplayer expansion, Comrades, will be sold on their own as well.
*Final Fantasy XV DLC* Final Fantasy XV DLC Producer Haruyoshi Sawatari and Global Brand Manager Raio Mitsuno presented the official trailer of the upcoming story DLC Episode Gladiolus at a panel at PAX East.
The trailer shows that Gilgamesh will be the DLC's main enemy. This version of Gilgamesh is a powerful blade master with a serious personality.
Sawatari and Mitsuno pointed out the differences between the fighting styles of Noctis and Gladiolus, the former is based on mobility while the latter is based on a duality of defense and offense due to his role as the king's shield.
To increase Gladiolus' attack power by x4, players will have to block enemy attacks to fill up his Rage gauge.
Chaining his normal attacks together will fill his Glaiveheart gauge to unlock special attacks.
Square Enix has also revealed that NieR Automata's composer Keiichi Okabe created two tracks for Episode Gladiolus. They also showcased a gameplay of the story DLC at PAX East.
Episode Gladiolus will release on March 28. Each of the story DLCs will be available for USD4.99 (approx. RM25), but is free for those with the Season Pass.
The new chapter 13 scenario is titled "Chapter 13, Verse 2: For King and Comrade" and can be accessed separately from the game's main menu.
Episode Gladiolus is available for $4.99 and comes included with the Season Pass. Gladiolus parts ways with his entourage and meets up with Cor, the sole survivor of the trials. Now, with his mentor at his side, Gladiolus sets out to challenge the Shield of the Founder King: the Blademaster, Gilgamesh.
