Thanks for the intro. I just applied the member online for free.
But then, how do I get the member card?
Go to one of their outlet collect or by post?
*
I'm not too sure because I applied mine at the counter. It doesn't ask you to collect or anything? No email confirmation?
I suggest you to call their customer service to check it out, I'm curious too.

Based on cybpsych's reply, looks like you will need to collect card.
Look from the brighter side, you got it for free. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jan 3 2016, 05:29 PM)
online account (online order) is different than member's card.

if you gotten online account first, before gotten member's card, you need to go to counter to link the card to the online account you created prior.

you still need to get the member card, separately, and pay for it biggrin.gif

2 ways for this:

1) continue with original online account. link the member card to it later.
2) maintain two accounts, separately.

Ah, still need to pay? OK, got it.
Anyway, lifetime membership is RM 12 with RM 10 voucher and free gift, worth for it. biggrin.gif

I guess it's about time to introduce Sam's Family Card to all. A membership card by Sam's Groceria.

It is an excellent membership card as you only need to sign up for once and it is valid for lifetime. Payment is only RM 12 and it gives you free RM 10 voucher upon sign up. Not only that, it comes with additional three mini cards which you can give to anyone to help you to collect points. biggrin.gif

The best thing about this card is you can even collect points from TnG reload. Every RM 1 spent = 1 point. Once you reach 1000 points, you can redeem them for RM 10 vouchers. Easily attainable if you reload TnG frequently. brows.gif

The vouchers can be used to redeem even at Sam's Deli. Oh ya, you can collect points from Sam's Deli as well. biggrin.gif

At this moment, Sam's Groceria is having promotion for CIMB card holders. Every RM 100 spent will get you a RM 10 voucher, TnG reload is included as well. smile.gif Yet to verify if vouchers can be used to redeem for TnG reload.

Link for Sam's Family Card: http://www.samsgroceria.com/loyalty/sams-family-card

It seems you can also register online for free but link is not working. You can try this link: https://members.samsgroceria.com/Sams/Commo...HGpiC3U9v8Jkw8=

FAQ: http://www.samsgroceria.com/help/faq/

Enjoy!

Just pray Sam's will not revise its TnC...

you need to pay before the "due date" to be entitled for the points, did you delay the payment?

for bcard, you can also try starbucks, you'll get a generic bcard without fee.
usually those specific bcards (chatime) that give you free stuff on your bday or other privileges are the one that will have a fee for the card.
*
I didn't delay at all. I paid once it appears on my OCC UniFi, not even waited until the bill was generated... sweat.gif

OK, I will go to Starbucks then. biggrin.gif

Edit: Just checked my TM Rewards again, I got my points now. laugh.gif rclxms.gif
I think it is updated once a month. tongue.gif

Hmm, okay..
just pay for the member card lah

can we pay TNB by letting them know the account no. only?
*
I guess so because I paid my UniFi with just account no.
If they ask for no. kontrak, just simply say any number. The crucial thing is the account no. smile.gif

Finally I can see one of my Agoda cash back payments in Shopback is redeemable now. Surprisingly, another stay in the same hotel on the next day is not yet redeemable. hmm.gif
My stay was in end of Nov.

I will wait till everything comes in only redeem. I can see I also have bonus of RM 15 and it says "Your bonus will automatically be included when you redeem your Cashback.", so it means it will be redeemed together with my other cash back right?

I noticed my Shopback payout requested in office is not successful because my office uses VPN proxy server that connects to SG. sweat.gif

Now tried at home and it is successfully redeemed. biggrin.gif

I have a question regarding Shopback, I had three stays booked via Agoda.

2 stays were booked together which I got 30+30, but anyway one of the stays I didn't get the RM 30 initially and after you guys guided me, I managed to get it. These stays already completed in end of Nov.

Then another stay happened on Christmas which I got RM 40.

I only managed to redeem one RM 30 and the RM 40, there's still missing one RM 30 despite the stay was much earlier. Should I follow up with Shopback?

Shopback has a weird way of crediting cashback which is done manually, usually those updated after the system messed up and I emailed Shopback.
When Shopback credits the cashback manually, the due dates for the cashback is usually earlier than what would have been auto generated by the system.

For Agoda, the rules say redeem cashback after 60 days from stay date. If the 60 days have passed, yes, email them and enquire.
they are usually very prompt in responding.
*
Alright, the two stays were together, one day apart. I already got one of them but not the other one and stay happened in end of Nov.
I will drop them an email then. biggrin.gif

As advised, I sent an email to Shopback and the CS responded promptly. After providing her with some evidence, she asked me to wait for 60 days after my stay which was 29th Jan. I thought it will not be that efficient and I checked just now, it has now moved to "redeemable". I have requested for payout. biggrin.gif

Case closed for all my cash back. rclxms.gif

Now I have a question regarding Agoda, we cannot bundle all stays in different hotels and make one payment right? I want to make sure I get RM 50 cash back. laugh.gif I don't think my 17 days of stay will be at least RM 220 per night as we will travel in budget way. laugh.gif

Or do you guys have any better suggestion for hotel bookings? As in how to maximize my spending or any site with lower price than Agoda? biggrin.gif

Not possible to bundle all. Even if you want to book several type of rooms in a same hotel, you have to book one by one.
*
OK lo. If same hotel can make it few days right? Then I can exceed RM 220.
Previously want to max out then split it but now they increase the minimum amount, guess it's better to combine few nights into one booking. I think two nights one booking will be sufficient for RM 220. brows.gif
