Hi Hitch80!

No you do not have to! Simply drop our customer service a message requesting Bcard membership and we'll make the change on your existing account to reflect that you are a Bcard member!

As a Bcard member, every dollar you spend gives you 1 Bcard point. For travel orders, kindly note that the maximum number of points is capped at 200.

Please do not hesitate to drop us a PM if you have any additional queries.

Thank you for using ShopBack and happy shopping!
*
But I already did that. My bcard number already exist in my account info in www.shopback.my. So is bcard.shopback.my still necessary?

Hi hitch80,

Kindly take note if you're using shopback.my the conversion is as follows:

For every 1 RM spent, you get 1 Bcard point plus cashback

If you're using bcard.shopback.my instead, there is NO cashback but we will give Bcard points as shown in your screenshot.

You can sign up on both websites and keep both accounts, but are only allowed to use either one for a purchase. For example, let's say you make two purchases , A and B.

Purchase A - use shopback.my to buy --> get cashback and points if you indicate card membership

Purchase B - use bcard.shopback.my --> NO cashback but you get way more points than if you used shopback.my.

We have decided to have two domains for Malaysia as we believe this will give our customers greater flexibility as to how they would like to be rewarded with every purchase with us.

Hope this clarifies any doubts and apologies if we had caused any misunderstanding!

@aspartame Yup! We want to give customers better flexibility as to how they reward themselves with each purchase, so it's up to you whether you want cashback with bcard points, or just a lot of bcard points!
*
so the critical question.....

HappyBagSB...are you supporting this page bcard.shopback.my as well?? biggrin.gif

Hi

I have been looking around for info on Pteronas MyMesra card. I remember read somewhere that with 1000 points we can redeem free petrol. Question is how much? and I also have been browsing www.kad-mesra.com.my and http://www.mymesra.com.my/ to look for info on how to purchase petrol using the points collected

Some assistance anyone?

Thank you

100 points is good, just swipe it at the pump there
*
waaahh...like that only? I thought have to collect 1000 points then can purchase free petrol. So meaning 100 points = RM1 petrol? good la, easier. I thought have to accumulate every 1k then only can purchase free petrol

Thank you for your info

I believe petronas mesra card system no longer accumulating points. I noticed all my kedai mesra transactions never appear in the online report. When asked they said need supporting document. How convenient to them to avoid this issue

For petrol via dispenser also 2 weeks no record even though the receipt stated approved

As attachment...I have several kedai mesra transactions from 16th to 24th (not daily though), but none of it get accumulated in the statement. Even my petrol transaction stated as '0'

This is true. Calculation as below assuming petrol price today @ RM2.38/litre

Smiles:-
3000 points / 2.38 = 1260 litres for RM45 petrol

Mymesra:-
3000 points / 3x points = 1000 litres for RM30 petrol
*
for mesra card every 1000litres you will get 3k points = RM30
if mesra you spent 1500 litres, you will get 4500 points = RM45
for smiles ron95, every 1500 litres you will get 3k points = RM45
for smiles ron97,, every 1000 litres you will get 3k points = RM45

So from this direct calculation if you use ron95 with petron, the redemption value is pretty much the same

1500 liters (mymesra) vs 1260 liters (smiles) = difference of 240 liters

That translates to > RM500 worth of additional petrol to pump at Petronas before u get the same equivalent rebate value.

I’ll root for Petron still
*
Additional??

You pumped 1500 litres of petrol in Petronas, you will get 4500 points (1 litre = 3 points)..then you can redeem RM45

You pumped 1500 litres of petrol in Petron, you will get 3000 points (1 ltre = 2 points)...then you can redeem RM45

Where's the difference??

Unless you use Ron97, then something else

My bad as I still thought that RM1 petrol = 1 point. It turns out that Petron has updated it to calculate per liter basis Instead of amount in RM spend on fuel pump
*
rm1=1 point, I thought only bhp is doing that. I just recently received petron miles with rm10 preload

imho petronas more worth it bcos u dun need to wait for 3000points to redeem the petrol
*
come to think about it, bhp also not that worth after this new change from petronas or probably even petron

petron 2 points for every RM2.38 / 3 points for RM2.66
petronas 3 points for RM2.38 & RM2.66
BHP - not sure, is it 3 points or 2points for RM2.38/RM2.66??
