Hi All,

As many young Malaysians today, my dream and long term goal is to migrate to another country.  My target locations are Australia and New Zealand.  I think NZ would be a great place for me to settle down due to the lifestyle there.  (PS. I have not actually been there, but I heard of the laid back lifestyle of fellow New Zealand-ers.

For people working and residing in NZ, can you share some tips on how the immigration process works, such as getting a job and VISA there?  I am a graduate in IT, majoring in software engineering and currently in a Project Team in a MNC headquartered in Germany.

Thanks in advance!

Only the company headquartered in Germany, but you're not in Germany, are you?? hmm.gif hmm.gif

Getting to NZ is not easy for fresh grads unless you're graduate from a NZ uni, which they're more lenient. Your best bet is do a postgraduate degree in NZ then find a job there. The same applies to AUS.

If you're not a fresh graduate, then you stand a slightly higher chance. You need experience and high salary.

Haha. Nope, I am most definitely not in Germany.  The office in Malaysia is based in KL.

I have thought about doing a postgraduate degree in NZ, but I just don't have the money right now sad.gif
I guess my best bet is to work for 3 years and try to apply then  cry.gif

during these 3 years, learn German then ask for a transfer to Germany....

you can also apply for postgrad scholarships in AUS/NZ ...

try look through their points systems and see if you qualify.. I saw it, and I think it's hard for non-AUS/NZ fresh graduates to gain an entry unless you've cable ..
