Anyone wanting to do Linux certification should checkout linuxfoundation courses. They are on Edx.org and coursera.org. There are many other moocs where you can learn the linux to the depth.

Hello again,
So, Cisco recently announced some major updates for their certification line. The CCNA will be the entry level for cisco certification since they get rid of CCENT. I've checked current price for CCNA exam price at Pearson and the price for ICND1 and ICND2 is only USD165. IIRC, you only got one exam voucer for $165 previously. So if anyone thinking getting the CCNA, this is a great time to get this cert since you'll get the new cert anyway. U got until 23 Feb 2020 to sit for the exam. Can read more: Here |

QUOTE(WongGei @ Aug 15 2018, 02:36 PM) https://www.businessnewsdaily.com/10750-bes...ifications.html LPI is excellent. Not tied down to one specific vendor. For me when hiring, certificates are only door openers... what matters is problem solving and ability to keep calm if shit hits the fan.https://www.whizlabs.com/blog/top-5-linux-certifications/ For me, I recommend LPIC |

QUOTE(bellfreedom @ Apr 19 2020, 04:12 PM) Depends on where you want to work. If you wish to work at a big MNC, which has fuzzy HR policies, getting a Linux Certificate will definitely helps. If you wish to work at some startup that only require working experience, no need. But it is still good to get one just to see how much you really now and at what level. |
